they basically criticised the entire anti-trans-in-GC camp and reminded people that:

trans women are women, trans men are men, it's been scientifically validated for years.
the "they're taking away women's place to shine" argument is practically always used solely for transphobic purposes, by people who wouldn't give a shit about the scene otherwise.
it's a fucking videogame, just let people play it.

which is absolutely based, but as #3 said, the fact that this is the bare minimum and there are people who aren't willing to accept even that is really disheartening.
