the actual "skillful" way to use a shotgun and get those multi-frags is to push off timings when an enemy tries to push you.
The counter is therefore to bait them into swinging; or if they stand still, preaim the angle as you should have peeker's advantage in seeing their model

valorant is mostly microflicks since most duels will be ideally close to your crosshair placement
To improve at microflicking do a lot of precise tracking scenarios--the little adjustments you tend to do when tracking a target will eventually become smaller and smaller allowing you to also do smaller and faster microflicks. This is why a lot of overwatch players' skill transfers over
Tracking ---> Precise tracking ----> microflick scenarios will lead you to having good aim for most roles except for maybe duelist
If you want to have good aim as a duelist I recommend also doing a lot of wide flicking scenarios after you finish microflicks
