I guess that's true for players like Flyuh, Rossy, and aproto, but thi3f, sym, brawk, and governor were all up-and-comers.

ngl tho I kind of agree that winthrop won't be good but its not bc of the players I just think it's going to be hard for them to get enough practice in compared to other teams while also having to juggle their classes--since they're like actually attending college while playing lol

Tier 3 talent pool is individually a lot more on par with Tier2 and Tier 1 than people realize imo

Last year nobody really believed in BreakThru and Turtle Troops after they made it past open qualifiers, whereas now their players are on MxS and getting poached to farm in Tier 1 APAC.

I think yeah they might probably suck at the start of the season but if they get their reps in scrimming the VCT teams they'll be fine

That would only be the case if GC teams and players hadn't been playing exponentially better and better every single year, which they have.

It is visible in NACL open qualifiers runs like those of SR and Burgerville, and Brazil Challengers open qualifiers runs like that of TL Brazil, especially when you consider that V1 last year couldn't even make it out of the closed qualifiers.

It's also visible in their gameplay if you compare the vods of SR vs G2 Gozen in 2022 with SR vs TL Brazil in 2023.

It's doing its job as far as development goes, although Riot never gives it any marketing which is a huge issue it faces.

Even if it did take 5 years, whether it takes 1 year or 6 years, seeing non-male players more prominently in challengers and in VCT would be an overwhelming success, not just for esports but society in general

it's not a safe place; it's a developmental league meant to bring more than just men into esports and nurture non-male talent.

Talk to any GC team and 99% of them will tell you their end goal is to compete in challengers

It's an illusion of more dominance than there actually was, EG only played fracture in 6 times between Masters Tokyo and Champs so their winning-streak on fracture is easier to maintain than something like Fnatic's Lotus or Optic's bind which didn't go undefeated, but still remained dominant over a larger period and with a larger sample size

Still incredibly impressive though and Imo on par with the two examples I mentioned

Idk I'm definitely biased toward NA as a region but this year I'm not actually that interested in any one team besides maybe sentinels and EG (and even then it was more fun to root for SEN last year when they were underdogs)

I think all the Americas teams are really good but theres nothing spicy about them anymore, especially when you compare it to all the storylines in APAC and EMEA

the teams I want to root for are orgs like gentlem8s, Karmine Corp to see Kameto's reaction and representatives of scenes that have something to prove like EDG and Gen.G

I'm not really that entertained by the game anymore as much as I am by cool storylines

Do 5 hours of the Voltaic Beginner then intermediate then advanced kovaak's playlist every day. make sure you have an arm rest.

Play a carry duelist and int on attack until you get good enough at entering site and getting at least one kill, then play like a rat on defense. Make sure you're not "hoping" people aren't playing in a certain spot, make lineups with your character or ask for util to clear spots in order to meet the conditions for your entry, or take educated gambles if you feel confident

Don't blame your teammates if they're bad, nor expect anything out of them; just overcompensate by doing more than you're supposed to

radiant smurfs don't expect their teammates to do anything for them and they still go from iron to immortal in days, so if your goal is to go pro then you should aim to be able to do the same no matter what rank you're in

(Disclaimer im not pro but this is how I got from Iron to ascendant3 so I hope its a start)

good luck

Just shut it bruv. You are embarrassing yourself. The fact that you think that every team that made it to Madrid got there by fluke is a JOKE. It tells me that you didn't watch any matches or you're at max silver and have 0 knowledge of how the game is played even at a fundamental level. NRG just got outplayed and outaimed. They had to win that sunset game in which they won both pistols, an eco and that round where they stuck the defuse and despite that SEN brought it to OT and closed it out. Split was as one-sided as one-sided can be and ascent is one of SEN's weaker maps. FNC played shit. They didn't change shit and got hard anti-stratted. SO TELL ME, WHO? WHO? WHO? would've made this masters more than just a 'mid' competition. YOU BRAINDEAD FUCKING IDIOT. I didn't watch pacific so no clue what went wrong with T1 and DRX but as for EMEA and AMERICAS, these four teams deserved it because they played the best valorant in their region. Do me a favour and delete your account.

Dephhs calling is a lot slower and more defaulty than johnqt's; in hindsight he probably would've had better success with a different roster

But no, I think johnqt's calling fits SEN perfectly rn

Say goodbye to seeing the same 6 names at every international event.

I think it'll catch EMEA off guard, but brazil is definitely not being caught off-guard by an aim-heavy team; thats kinda what they're known for, and NA is used to playing against said Brazillian teams.

Install Kali Linux (It's free) read their pdf on penetration testing, then go to hackerone.com and try your hand at finding vulnerabilities; if you're still struggling go back to learning or keep trying until you get it.

Once you get good enough at it you might make some money finding vulnerabilities for a wide variety of websites that offer money if you can find them. just make sure they're actually offering bounties and go about it legally

Id guess its a little different since in valorant every role can theoretically "score" and aren't limited by being positioned far away from the goal

Even if it is a mistake, to make that mistake would require them to change the contract terms in some way that would make the edit prone to errord

So at the very least I think something did happen to them

posted about a year ago

Depends on your team's playstyle. If your playbook is made up of set plays or protocols then having an IGL is really useful to keep track of them and being a decisive voice on which ones to use or whether to use them at all

PRX still has that but there's something about the way they play that doesn't necessarily require an IGL but I honestly can't pinpoint what it is

I agree but also tex shouldn't have stuck the plant while Brim mollied lol

Nevertheless i don't think any possible upgrades would be worth the risk vs the reward of changing the roster up; Sentinels is never a good model for how to handle the mid season

posted about a year ago

No DRX at an international event.

DRX stopped being the best team in APAC, and now they even stopped being the best team in Korea.

A new team with an entirely new roster is representing APAC as its first seed for the first time in 2 years

eggster is the best yoru but he's not pro so i cant really call him the best pro yoru

posted about a year ago

A lot of pros that get put on yoru get carried by their aim but Marteen's utility is so fucking perfect

He knows the conditions for when to unult, how to maximize his movement while in ult, when to tp onto site for entry, how to properly condition the other team

He's my favorite yoru player by far

AND on top of that his aim is godly
