For the first pirt yeah that's ppb right, i'd just want to add that I consider IGLs like boaster as a sudo sentinel as he plays mostly astra and smokes only in the same way that he could play sentinel. But ultimately there's been too few examples to make a general judgment. Concerning Johnqt I have no clue wether it'll make his IGLing better or not, I know he has at least a very solid Fade, what seems to be a quite good breach and for the rest we'll see later, but if they chose to do so it means it should work well that way

I mean taking 2024 nrg as an example isn't necessarily a fair point, but FNS picking ini doesn't dismiss my point tho, he had great success on sentinel, as did a lot of recent IGLs. I'm not denying that ini IGL makes sense, just saying that I consider cypher to be theorically the best agent to IGL with. Maybe I souldn't have said senti in general cuz vyse and deadlock are quite different from what we were used to w cypher and kiljoy and are played very differently but anyway. *+at first I was just saying that igl isn't easier on ini but doesn't change much to my opinion

btw just look at the roles of the best IGLs, boostio plays mostly snti, johnqt as well, FNS too. Valyn plays tons of omen, boaster is an astra main. IGL are often ini but it doesn't mean it's the best role to igl, even tho it has a big advantage, it also implies huge weaknesses

I think vyse is indeed very mid (at least in solo senti) but his util usage on defense was actually bad and might have costed them rounds)

igl isn't easier on ini tho

he's playing ini that's why. He has to think about his util as well, which obviously is way harder than being able to sit in a ratty spot and think about the plan for 30 seconds straight
