Its just I feel theres a very large bias towards Na and a little of EMEA when I want more info about all regions.

posted about 3 years ago

I dont disagree, but I feel they should be reporting on all teams of similar stature in other regions if theyre reporting on teams like Akrew

posted about 3 years ago

Gonna be honest I don't see why they reported on Akrew
I understand Kanpeki went to Sentinels
And Akrew signed Zachareee and that both of these transactions had t1 teams/players involved, but
If they're gonna report on teams in NA that are t2, they should also be reporting on teams that are t2 in other regions

Not yet anyway

Emea has been on loads of Copium lately. Obviously there have been unfortunate circumstances, but beyond that the EMEA teams seriously underperformed even given the teams that they had brought.

Does S2 masters winner qualify automatically like Berlin last year?

posted about 3 years ago

That and wouldnt another NA team have to get like second place at S2 Masters?

So is there any possible freak way for Optic not to be included in Champions?
750 circuit points is a lot and I don't see there being one, but I was curious if there was a way possible.

What do you mean by relevant? Like when do matches start up?
Sounded like you called Val dead

I hope you know everyone is different
Hiko and Effys
Similar ages, but Hiko had much more experience.
Is that a factor?
Probably, but each person is different and you can't really generalize a whole group.
Some do better under pressure while some crumble, but thats individual factors not a generalized factor

I agree that he called fantastically in Finals
But he has a past of being inconsistent
Maybe if he continue to call as good as he does I will change my mind

Prolly poaching from other teams to make another super team and bnj didnt make the cut

Boaster I agree with
Redgar I agree with
FNS is too inconsistent tbh as an IGL as they get stomped every now and then
Vanity would be a good follow up

But i understand people wanting it different
I mean magepunk, glitchpop are both copy pasted

I know this is probably a joke, but incase its not
Happy is an old top tier CS pro

His career has not been great in Valorant

Man what do you think a subregion is?

posted about 3 years ago

NA
BR
APAC
Honorable Mention JP, but Zeta has big gap

posted about 3 years ago

yes they won Iceland but in reality I feel like NA is a pretty weak region. They only have 1 good team that can compete internationally,
and the only reason they were able to win Reykjavik 2022 is because the top EMEA teams couldn’t play because of travel restrictions and Covid. So basically Optic had no competition.

also I kinda feel like this run was a bit of a fluke. They lost to Xerxia at the beginning and Loud in the upper finals so they are definitely not as strong as everything thinks but somehow they won it at the end so idk I still think FPX, prime Fnatic and even Gambit are all higher in the rankings than Optic.

I think when everything goes back to normal we will never see NA, Optic and these random teams again. I mean the last time we had everyone competing normally every NA team got grouped and they had no chance

thoughts?

How am I salty lmaooooo, Ive read and considered what you are saying. And I have already told you they dont apply...
Read what im saying man and you might understand

posted about 3 years ago

Omg you cant be this dense
FPX in CIS quals
FPX is CIS team.
Lets say its not, it still relies on CIS talent to be anywhere near as good as the actual European teams it competes with
CIS > EU

posted about 3 years ago

Lets just say latvia is fully European
Ukraine and Russia are both in riot CIS competitive region
3/5 players are CIS
This is literally all you need to know
Coaches do not count because they do not make up the core 3 players to retain circuit points

Also I literally said that political labels DO NOT matter. I know the European Union has no influence on any of this I said this
Riot labels FPX as CIS. Thats literally my whole argument and you guys cant seem to comprehend it

posted about 3 years ago

Yea they got to the finals in berlin then lost
Made it so we didnt have 100t in Champs
Both Fnatic and Liquid went to champs

posted about 3 years ago

Even if they are asian they all grew up in North America so i dont get where this post is going

posted about 3 years ago

This is true, this information aside though thatd still be 3/5

posted about 3 years ago

All you're doing is trying to insult me when youre not even thinking.
Riot considers Latvia (Ardiis) and Uktraine (Ange1) CIS
4 players are considered CIS and therefore according to Riot are CIS
This is why they played in CIS quals
https://www.vlr.gg/63586/natus-vincere-vs-funplus-phoenix-champions-tour-cis-stage-1-challengers-1-gf
As you can see there, they qualed through CIS quals
You can literally look this up. Its right there.
Political and Geographic labels dont mean shit as riot recognizes this as a CIS team, and they compete against CIS teams
I really shouldnt have to spell it out so simply.

Nah people like to autolock reyna still.
Usually autolocks go as follows

  1. Jett
  2. Reyna
  3. Chamber
4 & 5 both fill as they dont want to lose
posted about 3 years ago

This dude is on the hardest copium I've ever seen lmao
Valorant labels both those countries CIS and thats all there is to it. Its just a competitive region

Reading #30 wouldve saved you a lot of time

posted about 3 years ago

Copium, just mad EU lost to BR, APAC, JP, and KR

posted about 3 years ago

If this were the case then why dont they compete in EU quals instead of a separate CIS?

posted about 3 years ago

Ukraine and Latvia are considered EU geographically yes.
Politically only Latvia is EU, and Ukraine has applied to be apart of the EU
As for Valorant Competitive regions go they are BOTH considered CIS
That makes 4/5 CIS

You need to learn the difference between politcal, geographical, and valorant competitve regions as there is a difference.
