Just NRG having bad defense sides which on fracture gave a really bad deficit. By no means was this a clean game by either team.

I think NRG will bounce back and C9 can maybe scare G2 but I kinda doubt that if everyone plays like they did today against NRG, if Oxy plays on the level Xeppaa was I can see them pulling the upset.

We've got 2 rookies who look really good but still have some things to work out, just some poor comms today and Xeppaa having a career day.

People are super over reactionary to one match, by that logic MiBR with Aspas won't make an international either, alot can change in a few matches. I'd say if this roster doesn't make atleast one LAN its a huge failure of a season, but its not like we're eliminated from kickoff, these opening matches are meaningless for all 4 regions as you can lose the 2nd match and still be in the same spot in the lowers.

Ethan made a few blunders on fracture with positioning that cost key rounds, C9 also had alot of spam through smoke kills (more than NRG did), also took a long time for the defense on fracture to adapt, wouldn't say FNS calls were bad, because attack side it was a landslide.

Also Lotus was very back and forth close, just came down to who won duels more, alot of those also came down to poor spacing by both teams at times or NRG seemingly had a comms breakdown in the last few rounds of the map with bad Ethan smokes where V1c already had them.

Also quite a few bad whiffs by NRG guys namely Ethan and FNS at times

YFP was like a top 4 NA team last season, with former Tier1 players

Bdog and Penny have been some of the best NA T2 players (former tier1 even on teams like V1 and LG/SR) for a solid like 4 years now. These guys should be in tier 1 tbh
