You're saying this like this isn't the case with FNS it's just less agreed upon because vlr is majority NA fans. Almost every EMEA fan calls FNS's only trophy a fluke and some NA fans (mainly SEN fans) call it a fluke as well. You won't see people calling FNS a fraud because he hasn't been competing for a year and NRG has legitimately died without him. I also think the amount of hate that Boaster gets is undeserved but the few times he gets actual fair criticism is always almost right. He is a subpar fragger and FNC's calling and midrounding isn't exactly world class at the moment so he's on the hot seat.

1. Only two teams made roster changes after winning an international event.
2. They quite literally have segments of players interviewing other players or have pros do stuff like geography.
3. I actually agree to an extent, but the problem is how condensed it is rather than number of games. Also, CS has substantially fewer moving parts or changes in meta for teams to keep track of, so it is easier for players to cycle through games without feeling burnout.

2023 champs. Teams were starting to ult orb farm and snowball a lot more and ult combos and specific lineups to destroy util or deny early space started to become insanely common on every map and nearly every team at the event was doing it.

I mean yeah, the level of Boaster hate compared to how much criticism he actually deserves is definitely abnormal.

It could definitely be as competitive as or more competitive than 2023 champs.

1. With it turning out to be the worst masters. Tokyo and Madrid in my opinion were both worse entertainment wise for different reason. Madrid because there was less teams and games and Tokyo because the level of play was shockingly bad outside of FNC EG and PRX. 2. You listed teams who simply didn't deserve to be here outside of DRX maybe. Lev and FNC are underperforming heavily compared to expectations so I wouldn't want teams who would produce bad Valorant gameplay to be in the tournament longer than they should if they weren't good enough to go far.
