My story as a vct fan since 2021
2021
Got into vct by being a TL fan in 2021 , they lost to V1 in Iceland , I don't have a team support in Berlin so I watched it anyways and fell in love with gambit's aim and nats' brain .
In champions, I supported both teams and hoping them to reach finals I was so happy to see both of them on semis and my predictions were on point up until that classic chokequid vs acend .
Then I root for gambit and completely broke up with SHITQUID ( except scream ) and then gambit lost too but they did well .
In 2022
I was only supporting GMB/M3C but they unfortunately lost and I had arguments with chronicle and midgar in Twitter about role changes and map veto problem. They both thought they are a team top after 2021 and had a huge ego , no wonder they fell off . I then stopped supporting both teams completely ( except Nats and scream )
I then moved to supporting fpx just because they 13-0ed FNC in split and from that point onwards till that 10-4 throw vs DRX chokers I was a fpx core fan .
Yes I'm a bandwagoner but now I'm done bandwagoning , I'm done watching VCT , I hope LOUD beats the shit out of SHITVI and shao and suygetsu gets a better team .
I started changing teams not because they are losing but because of their ego .
TL - sticking with JAMPOOP and LOLcas after 2021 champions
GMB - not learning Haven or changing map veto or changing strategy adapting to meta in 2022 but " we are all great players " remember they lost to SHITQUID in LCQ , that's embarrassing.
NAVI - angel being a walking orb for enemies, one dimensional calls and strats , too predictable, only relying on aim to win and that comp troll in the name of experimenting.
☠️ that midgar was reluctant bruh mf just called HAVEN A TRASH MAP AND CONSTANTLY BANNING it , and they become so predictable in their stronger maps ( Breeze and ascent) . Which made their map veto weak asf and hence their downfall as a team , deffo was a scapegoat and chamber meta is just an excuse. I was a huge fan of that team I know exactly why they fell off
Coaches are meant to be like that sometimes, your coach has to be honest BRUTALLY honest, and when you do that you may be toxic . Players should not have an yes man as a coach , doombros is a yes man in my view , I don't think he ever contradicts angel , both extremes are bad though.
Midgar is the only problem to any team , gambit won the masters purely because of fundamentals like trading and shit and they comm in Russian . Enghh was a overrated coach but midgar is just straight up trash . Stfu please
