The swap of Meteor and Lakia is truly showing, I think munchkin does need another veteran caller bc I think that’s been the biggest downside of the roster compared to last year

When I watch GenG, it’s clear they lack stability when there’s a lot of stakes and having 3 young guys in Karon, foxy and Ash does hurt them abit.

Didn’t see straight up say in the past that he doesn’t want to play entry? They could pull a T1 and just double duelist every map lol

The possible lower bracket run is a fun added storyline

The only thing that’s holding this roster is the talent and the “potential” of being good

Last year it was Zekken/Tenz to carry the frag load with other supporting. N4rrate was supposed to be the second guy on this roster but he’s passive too now, so 4 baiters with zekken and it just bad

Even when Sen were losing it was fun to watch, this team is just depressing. Everyone just looks perma tilted outside of zekken and Zellsis

Academy team and rob said he’ll sell all the players for cheap. So I’m sure it wasn’t hard to get him

Ever since Tenz left, the entire team just baits zekken

Sen doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results

I’m more speaking for like the mid tier ascension teams trying to keep their spot in the league. A team that can’t win it all but if there were champs points that boost their shot at champs, maybe they could pick up some wins

I have a feeling we’ll never see an ascension team really go and try to win it unless they’re already a top team. What if an ascension team wins the tourney then they get immunity as a bonus? As of rn there is no benefit to winning for them

Or if a team had a really bad start to the year, makes a roster change and goes to EWC, if given champs points, they can make a run for champs. Especially with the format now where 2 teams make champs off of points

Man if they can get a fraction of this every game from n4rrate and john, this team can make noise. I think this teams success hinges on these two bc you know what you’re gonna get from the other 3 every game

2 series in a row, where they could’ve played haven but opted for icebox instead. What makes them think that their icebox is so good? They have no big wins on it outside of GenG and they lost it twice at Toronto and both maps weren’t that close. Then it’s John on omen, why not just swap with bang?

How have John and kap convinced eachother so hard that lurk IGL is so bad? Like you have Zellsis, a world class flash initiator on perma senti.

This team has lost its entire identity, it’s actually embarrassing

Its just more of like if they hypothetically bomb out of stage 1 as an org do you trust your roster to pull it together or just say fckk it and pull a talon bc you don't get many chances in VCT to play

he'll be 18 at the end of april which is basically the end of split 1, playoffs-ish

If sen don't make Toronto, should the org promote him as a last ditch effort for champs?

Same question for other orgs with academy teams, how trigger happy should they be with their rosters?

As crazy as it sounds, remember when we all were questioning why tenz on omen when sen had pancada on the roster? Not saying it'll work but it can work, we've seen keiko transition to smokes and it helped him with his consistency and aggression. Also omen is a great playmaker and can be used very fast like tenz did, so it can suit jing.

And who knows maybe mindfreak wants to leave? Maybe its vibes but if they do well, great. If it crashes and burns, it'll be funny so win win

And when did I mention theirs was good? I'm talking about sen's comp regarding your claim of tenz's yoru was "dogshit"

Even if they only played it once, the comp has good ideas behind it. DRX even picked it up in 2023 Champs and got wins with it using some of sen's ideas. I'm not claiming that it was insane but the plan behind the comp is good and if you can't accept that then that is on you

I'm just talking about them being big believers in it. But I wouldn't go that far to say it was shit bc sen's bind comp was pretty good prior to the skye nerf

I just find it funny how the two most notable yoru believers in vct when it was hated on for being bad and now yoru is meta and neither get to play it

In theory I think it is easier to call on initiator but there is enough evidence to why its fine without role changes. Haodong swapped off the smokes role and the team got worse. Ange1, johnqt, Boo, boostio, fns. Calling off "backline" roles like senti/controller isn't worse, you just need better communication as a team. I'm a strong believer in comfort roles over anything

Activate n4rrate more whether thats being more aggro in playstyle or comp

Switching back to senti Def isn't the move, however I'm curious to know what would help activate him more. He's such an x-factor where I think he can change a map in sens favor by himself similar to tenz imo
