the normal rule is just you are allowed to get a sub that is the same rank or lower as your registration rank exceptions can be made if we see that a player plays way better than his registration rank
people who rank up during the season are allowed to get a sub that is the same rank as their new peak
and I thought people who get a downgrade sub wise for example from p3 to p1 are allowed to get if they have another sub an upgrade for example second player d1 to d2 but I am not sure about this
