1) If they had won one round in OT against DRX, they would have 2-0d them and be in playoffs and DRX vs LOUD was lower bracket for one to qualify.

2) same again, If they would have won 1 round in ,it would have been OT and a 2-0 vs LOUD.

just with 1-2 round difference they lost both the matches.

EG goes from upper backet, LOUD defeats both FNC( rematch) and PRX( loss to them but could have been 2-0 if won on 1st map). Sounds solid.

Imagine EG wins and move to finals with 2 map bans in hand. And they will play Fracture which is guaranteed win for them according to stats. And their Accent and spilt are good too.
So EG just have to win against PRX.
