TBF, several of the best players in the trial were not signed such as Saya, Foxy9 and Beyn(likely too expensive and Beyn and Foxy are rumoured to have other offers), counts as an Import slot (Sultan) or have military service (Grumble).
But honestly this would be an 6-8th roster this season, they are decent. Next season though? Between the Korean teams, PRX, Talon, TS and RRQ? This GE is fked.
3 different indo player have an international podium finish since franchising. 2 Indo players held VCT kill record.This year 4 indo players from 2 different teams are in internationals. I can see an argument that overall TH is better because technically no indo team have ever done anything.(Idk if we count indo majority Madrid PRX).
But JP? Bro you can't even field one competitive team. The last time a JP player won an international game was 2022 Reykjavik. The last time any PH team was in an international tourney is 2021.

T1 with Stax , Buzz, Meteor ,Izu and Sylvan have probably some of the best firepower in the region and the structure to back it up .
Talon now have time to integrate primmie and cook some more
DRX keep Flashback and Mako , and got hyunmin and freeing. I don't think i ever see DRX sign a bad player so their last player should also be cracked. I expect them to remain competitive.
RRQ with warbirds will now actual strats and excellent anti strats while maintaining their impressive firepower.
SPG is also a scary team and TS can always upset.

Not counting some team coming out of nowhere (Zeta aspas and two japanese karon maybe) it looks like Geng and PRX will actually have competition to qualify for internationals, even if GenG keeps munchkin (keep in mind they are competing with DRX to get the best Korean talents, and their finest tier2 talents are promoted) or Jing improved his agent pool.
Apac looks promising. Lets just hope nobody decide to buy demon1 and fk their roster like this year

When your best team gave more victories than everyone else combined in the international stage, you are a one team region. Apac was a 1 team region too, but Emea was worse. Amer was not 1 team region as they have different teams getting podium finish. Apac have 2. Emea and china have 1.
They won all of their games with foxy except v PRX until the PRX reverse sweep breaks them in 2023 though.
Tbf 2023 apac was a 2 horse race, but they are not that bad
Prx is debatable. Both teams finish 3rd , G2 did better in champs but didn't make it to one event+prx won a regional.
Lev >G2 is not debatable. Both finished 3rd at their peak but Lev did it in champs and they won the regional split.

So whats the point of GE being there? Might as well bring an Indian team that plays 5 indians (or 3 indian and 2 others, revenant was decent) and go 0-11 from riot's point of view. Atleast that brings in viewership

Their year one team was genuinely really good players. Monyet and texture were in hindsight world class player and Ayrin is still someone who went to champs and finished 5/6.
The problem was they put Rossi on perma jett. Thats a management problem. Rossi doesn't mind playing init, he does that in vclsa 2024 even though he's good enough to play jett without getting punished in SA as proven in the past.

Do you not watch any other sports? The consideration for best player/team is always both overall performance (TH did good, but Geng and EDG finish higher than them in 2/3 tournaments) and how much do you achieve (trophies). If its about money earned every baloon d'or winner will be from PSG.
Of course you could argue that earning = overall performance but even then th is not first. AND once again literally in any other sports trophy is an important consideration

And counterpoint: a mixed JP team have always been competitive in the last 2 years of ascension. The JP scene just keep shooting itself by picking up roster that is not even the best locally (Scarz>Cr that becomes DFM). So they are better than it seems
