Idk about ur point with it just being better mechanics. If you play the game 12 hours a day course ur gonna have good game sense. I think it highlights individual skill over team play, and also that ur point that TOP ranked (I mean like consistently top 10, not just peak #1 or consistent top 500) has pro play is a smaller gap then most realize.

If you watched the qualifier matches, before we fought YFP X, :3 faces the catnappers, which should be our natural enemy, but we won 26-11. However, in the main event for kickoff, YFP beat Catnappers only 26-16. Therefore, through the associative property of delulu, we will beat YFP X because :3 beat the Catnappers better than YFP did.

I agree with ur point that someone has to be at the bottom, but this statement is straight up not true. for starters WU has won a match again Ambrosia, which is a pretty respectable win, while SRG are losing badly to QoR, and if you watch T2, iykyk.

However, ignoring the match that is happening rn, SRG have been competing at a T2 level and although they’re not winning , it’s not like they’re losing every map.

I think people gotta remember SRG are supposed to be a bottom T2 rn. They’ve tried across multiple years to reach T2, and so when they get in of course they’re gonna be at the bottom. They need to keep working their way up like they have in the past, and this season is their chance to prove that they can do it that before relegation.

Honestly they looked pretty good against PLUG, even though they lost 0-2. This match is starting to give me doubts tho, especially cuz they’re losing to QoR. Unfortunately only team I see them clearing is the Immortal 1/2 premier team.

They got 3rd in qualifier, but also that doesn’t mean that they’re a competitive team in the league.So many teams get promoted and instantly regulated and that might unfortunately happen.

Contract money sure, but they were making SO MUCH money in GC through prize pools. They were able to consistently win champs if they wanted, plus higher viewership (I believe, don’t quote me on that) which results in higher exposure for the sponsor and therefore more money. We don’t know what they make contract wise, but I can guess including prize pools they are making less money this year than the past 2 years

There is a possibility they can come in at like Stage 3 and make champs, cuz there’s players like Bob playing in both leagues rn, but we don’t know what they’re gonna do yet

Considering rankers played today the number is going to be lower
But yea T2 saves a lot less than Tier 1. This could be because more ranked experience so playing more like ranked, culture of not saving in scrims, but I think that the biggest reason is rounds less predictable. In tier 1, teams postplants with man advantage are so practiced that it becomes practically impossible to lose, because rounds like that are only winnable if the opponent makes a mistake.
