On January 29, the Game Changer 2025 North America: Kickoff Closed Qualifier and our heros, :3 were competing for a spot in the North American Game Changers Kickoff Main Event.

:3's Roster consisted of:
Luna "LunaFox" Ryan - Flex
Bryce "icee" Shultz - Duelist
Felica "TeddyIsFluffy" Wang - Smokes
Annie "Aniemal" Lee - Sentinel
cyn - Initiator (Couldn't find irl name on vlr, x, or twitch)

The first match our hero's fought in was :3 vs. Catnappers, a formidable foe. Catfaceval (also known as :3), managed to swiftly defeat the Catnappers in an astounding 2-0 victory, after a hard fought 13-4 on abyss and a 13-7 on haven. The catnappers managed to later qualify through their lower bracket and time will tell if these 2 teams will meet again at the main event.

The second match our hero's fought in was :3 vs. FYP X, a team heavily favored to win. In fact, many were even claiming this match would result in a devastating 26-0. However, our heros never shy down away from a challenge, and they took YFP X head on. Whoever wins this match qualifies for the main event, and the loser would have to compete in an all or nothing loser bracket. The first map was pearl, where both teams chose to run aggressive double duelist comps. However, this fails to be the story we want to hear as :3 lost 1-13 against YFP X on pearl. The next map was bind, and once again tragedy stuck for our heros with a 2-13 loss against YFP X.

After being tragically struck down into their loser's bracket, :3 would have one last chance to qualify for the main event. If they were to win here, they would be remembered in history as a North American Game Changers competitor, but a loss would mean being struck out of the tournament with nothing to show for it. Their opponents, HyperSpeed White. These old friends would have to meet again, in an all or nothing match. All eyes were on LunaFox and Luna1, and this match would prove who was the superior Luna. Map 1 was Bind, where our hero's started on a rampage with an 11-1 half on defense and finishing it off with a swift 13-2 victory. :3 refused to lose their momentum and kept it into the next map, haven, where they would win 13-2 again and qualify to the main event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The next step for our hero's will be the North American Game Changers Kickoff Main Event, where they will compete against Teddy Tactics in their first match.
