I am not talking about stats. Its more about his team not doing well. I think that because his team didn't have a good tourney it makes a lot of people look past individual performance. Which I think is part of the reason Platchat didn't have him as a nominee which is what this thread is about.

Faze really seams like the odd one out here.

Thanks for takin the time hiyo!

And some of these teams and players are going to be out for a long time if they miss the RR. like months!

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah!
I wouldn't be upset to see Faze (if they sign a team) and V1 as well.

A Brazilian c9 fan? I don't think so, this dude is from NA.

I am talking about overall performance throughout 2021. If Yay is overrated then so is Scream lol which neither are both are insane.

posted about 2 years ago

Reduxx and Habib are going insane this tourney!

posted about 2 years ago

Well are we talking about all of 2021 or just from lcq on? Because I think there were better players at taking duels than Scream if you look at all of 2021. Cned is n1 for all of 2021, and Yay, up until champs, was probably better too.

His team's Iceland and challengers 3 performance holds him back from an overall 2021 player of the year award. He was one of the best if not the best from lcq on but you can similar things about tenz earlier in the year. If you look at Cned who was the winner of masters 1 and champions. Its hard to top.

Scream is an amazing player but he is not the best in the world. Iceland hurt his rep too much I think.

He is nutty and a free agent right? I am surprised a team hasn't picked him up yet.

If NA buyouts weren't so high who would they have signed instead? Oderus? Who else is there?

If Tenz preforms he has the most talent on the roster for purely hitting shots probably better then Shahz. At least that is what the team thinks. So, they stick him on the operator that benefits the most from the pure skill of hitting shots which is Jett. Now if he continues to do poorly at large events then they will likely switch him off Jett like you say they should do.

Explain Jamppi > shahz. Im not saying you are wrong just want to hear why, unless you are the type of guy to hate shahz for his personality/CS drama. Both are cracked IGLs.

VLR.gg rule #1 - Always assume anything that Netero posts is bait.

Kr was exactly hyped but VS under delivered at champs that's all. The region needs more experience with tac shooters in general to be consistent.

Can someone explain OPP rating?

You might be right. They haven't faced a top 10 Na team yet if you don't count kcp which it seems they have a good match up against.

posted about 2 years ago

Hecking Love Xset. It seems like they have a pretty chill and mature squad with Ayrin, dephh, and BCJ. I hope to see cryo do well with them.

posted about 2 years ago

What I mean is If there is only one spot for KR in masters/champs we will probably only see VS out of KR. But you are right the gap between Kru and the other teams of Latam is greater than VS and the other teams in KR.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah he can.

posted about 2 years ago

I agree. With how good Kru are we probably wont see another team from that region for a long time if it remains a 1 team region. Same with VS and Korea.

posted about 2 years ago

Wardell is really good with the op but their team never wins... so its pretty hard to tell where to rank him. Cned and Yay are definitely better than him and I wouldn't rank him above other known opers who have been good at major lans.

Actually, it has a lot to do with how a team is setup and how it uses its players. An igl like Jamppi or Shaz are setup for success in how they create plays. Players like Redgar and Zombs are generally left to be anchors at sites where there are specific execs setup to kill them.

posted about 2 years ago

Redgar has a .83, .63, and .87 kda on three out of the 4 agents he has played in the last 2 tournaments. The only agent where he goes positive is on Sova which he plays 18.2% of the time. Redgar is IGLing but they are in very similar roles aside from that.

I hope the new team does better.

Ideally Id say every region should have at least 2 spots for international play. I know its not realistic but at least LATAM and KR deserve 2 spots. With how good their top teams are there wont be another team from those regions for a long time if they stay 1 team regions.

posted about 2 years ago

Facts. In one team regions the top team really suffocates the other teams in that region. They can keep practicing against better competition while the rest of the region is left behind. KR and Latam both need at least 2 spots each if riot wants the those regions to grow.

posted about 2 years ago

2 BR and 2 LATAM makes a lot of sense to me. But don't they play for that in the south America LCQ?

posted about 2 years ago

I kinda want to hear those coms as well, becusae shaz mentioned they were a big reason for their loss.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't think Riot will change the slots distribution to much (taking away/adding slots to regions). Unless they add slots to increase the amount of teams playing which I hope they increase at least champions to a 24 team tournament. Just a hunch not based on anything.

LOL. Been talking to too many TSM fans.

Faze fits him, they are already controversial.

posted about 2 years ago

Number 1 doubter here.
With how recently they acquired Levi I find it highly unlikely for TSM to pick up a controversial sova main.

Im huffing a lot of Doubtium tho

This is how I would put the last 7 teams in order. (LG>TSM)

  1. Sentinels
  2. Envy
  3. 100T
  4. C9
  5. Xset
  6. V1
  7. Rise
  8. Faze
  9. GenG
  10. LG

Scream should be up there for his rifling imo.

posted about 2 years ago

They dominated Ace which is why people thought they were good.

posted about 2 years ago

It wasn't even that bad of a group. Kru, Sen, and TL Was the real group of death tbh. VS should have dominated their group imo.

posted about 2 years ago

Even though its a knockoff drug of Krupium its still a very powerful drug.

posted about 2 years ago

Akrew with Paincakes is picking up steam, if they continue and get better they could be on this list soon.

posted about 2 years ago

True, yeah I'm not sure. Sounds like the system you mentioned could work. Teams qualifying from east, west, north, and south possibly. Or maybe it wont have to do with geography at all and will just be a league like the nerdstreets.
