Nah, with only 3 internationals a year we would hardly get any games that we actually want to watch

when players change its not always about the team trying to get an upgrade in skill or aiming or even experience. sometimes its about the player wanting to make a change or the team feels like there needs to be a change to improve team work if some players don't work well together for whatever reason.
So, I agree it may not make sense but we clearly don't see a lot of what's going on with the team it's self.

Maybe for other games but not for val with how few events there are and how important the events are. If there were more events I'd agree with you. Maybe if Riot ran single elim they could do more tournaments

True but there is a skill gap between T1 and T2. He may come in and need take time to adjust. If that happens he will get a lot of hate but I'm not sure its going to be a big deal as a lot of us are aware that this may happen.

Their system almost requires promotion and relegation for all teams in T1. But that will never happen

I'm not going to pretend like I know what I'm talking about so yeah your idea could work. What I do know is either a majority of orgs will leave T2 or Riot will find a way to make orgs want to be in T2.

T2 is very hard for orgs to invest in. Odds are very low of getting into the T1 league, and for now T2 has very low viewership so orgs just light more money on fire for even less gain than usual.
