1 min is still 1 min. APH got a map default for the same reason. if you guys want someone to blame, blame it on riot's tournament client
oasis gaming defaulted map 2 because 1 of the players couldnt log into the server on time. riot's tournament client is bugged
if the players aren't in the server within 15 mins they get a 1 map default
it wasnt due to internet issues. they dq'd because the tournament client si buggy as hell
TS cant catch a break huh? if they lost that series people would be flaming them. if they won that series people would say it was rigged. if you want someone to blame, blame the admins for the DQ, blame Riot for their buggy tournament client.

this is actually true to some extent. during champions teams played really slow, now that TS are back in SEA they cant catch up to the hyper aggressive playstyle
they had such good chemistry with their coach idk why they dropped him

some TS members are having ping problems although thats not really an excuse. Idk if they practiced much after champions, one of the members(jessievash) was on a holiday trip to europe and only just recently came back. Also, the level of the teams in the Philippines has quite significantly leveled up, Action PH and Naos Esports(formerly fallen5) have been grinding a lot of mickey mouse tourneys.

As to why filipinos watch on facebook, a all of our cell carriers have data promos for facebook so its cheaper for those who dont have landline internet. twitch doesnt really have a huge presence for your everyday average joe here.

hmm valid take my counter to that would be, lets say if the system is as you suggested like EMEA, most of the time KR would qualify to the masters events leaving japanese fans no team to cheer for these events. Riot wouldnt want to miss out on the japanese viewership.
merging KR and JP would only let the koreans swallow the japanese scene. A lot of JP orgs sign korean players, if it wasn't for the 2 foreign player restriction they wouldve sign 4 KR players and 1 JP player(just to keep the JP fans happy).
