"other regions aren't good we should just let their valorant scene die and let EMEA be the only relevant region just like CSGO" -OP

sadly there are no streams for the PH open qualifiers

posted about 2 years ago

same bro. they were both the most hyped PH team in the off season

posted about 2 years ago

yes that is a valid argument however if we had the same format as the rest of the region all of those teams wouldve qualified by now

posted about 2 years ago

it just feels so bad that 2 of those 4 teams will be out of the VCT for months

posted about 2 years ago

the rest of the subregion aside from SA and OCE uses the same format. It sucks that we have this kind of format

posted about 2 years ago

True!!! im pretty sure some of those games would've been sick! it would've been a great marketing tool before the main event so filipinos would have a team that they could cheer for

posted about 2 years ago

agreed :( with the sheer amount of orgs signing players in the Philippines I was surprised why we only had an 8 team Main Event

posted about 2 years ago

Why is PPGL/Mineski so behind on tournament format?

Last year we didn't have a lower bracket but the other sub regions had a lower bracket. Now we have a lower bracket however, we have an 8 team main event compared to the others that have a 16 team main event. Are we really that small of a sub region compared to MYSG/HKTW/ID/TH/VN ?

Our local teams badly need the exposure so that the orgs that support them have a reason to continue supporting them. How do orgs justify supporting teams when people barely know who those players are and how good they are if we cant even give them the chance to be in the main event and show us what they got.

P.S. If this is something outside the control of the Tournament Organizers then I apologize. I am just someone who loves to watch Valorant being played at a high level and I want Valorant to have a sustainable system in the Philippines so that more Filipinos have the Opportunity to become a professional player for the game they love.

i know its bait but ill bite. even if TS got 0-2'd by ACE, TS still 2-0 VKS(in convincing fashion) and dont forget X10 2-0 KS(also in convincing fashion)

  1. EMEA
  2. NA
  3. KR
  4. LATAM = SEA
  5. BR
  6. JP

this is based on all year round results. As to why LATAM and SEA are on the same rank, LATAM only has 1 competitive team(yes KRU is impressive) the other LATAM teams cant couldnt even take the SA LCQ slot from BR. SEA on the other hand has a lot of competitive teams I wouldnt be surprised if there will be different teams representing SEA(now APAC) in Masters 1 and Masters 2 in the 2022 VCT

posted about 2 years ago

idk if you noticed but this is a bait

posted about 2 years ago

a lot of people forget that SA and OCE has now been integrated to SEA thats why the APAC region has more slots

posted about 2 years ago

LMAO yes just give all the slots to EU and NA that will totally be a more engaging valorant scene

posted about 2 years ago

are you so sure about that? think again.

https://playercounter.com/valorant/

posted about 2 years ago

imagine being so salty about slots that you have to attack asians that work hard to get the slots they deserve

posted about 2 years ago

oh yeah just lump all the asians into 1 category and totally ignore the fact that we have a population of over 2 billion split into 3 regions how is that not fair huh?

Honest tier list
S:KR-Has performed the best when it comes to the international stage
TH-FPS Gods of the southeast asian region they had 2 teams in champions that proved themselves well

A:SG-Has a lot of potential because of the quality of the teams they have
MY-Singapore and Malaysia are considered as 1 subregion

B:PH-Team Secret is the only team that has proved themselves to be on par with teams outside the region
ID-Will possibly be a top contender in the upcoming VCT but still has to prove themselves

C:IN-Has a lot of teams with great quality players but has yet to show any results concrete results against SEA teams(LAN might save this region)
JP-Riots Games will give a lot of chances to this region because of the sheer amount of viewship this region has hopefully they will make a
superteam that can make them proud

D:VN-Always one of the first to bow out of VCT but still has immense potential considering how popular FPS is in this country
TW-An underwhelming region considering their success in other games

Unknown:
AU-Can be a top contender considering their history with FPS games however we haven't seen a team from this region go against teams outside
their region
CN-No clue because valorant hasn't been officially released there, it is only a matter of time before they conquer the asian region with the sheer
amount of support Chinese orgs provide their players

Edit: Spelling errors

bren esports and south built esports are better than nigma galaxy tbh. just my opinion

posted about 2 years ago

yep we are always 1 step behind the other subregions when it comes to the tournament format. its either riot wanted it to be like this or mineski is just lazy when it comes to hosting the PH VCT.

posted about 2 years ago

Zeal esports has been disappointing after stage 2 challengers i dont really feel like they deserve the invite tbh but oh well.

posted about 2 years ago

APH, BREN, SBE, RRQ, Alpha Esports, NGX are my bet to get to groups.

also, i find it weird that ID, TH, and MY/SG has a 16 team group stage while PH only has an 8 team group stage. are we that small of a subregion compared to them?

lmao no need to insult me fucking weirdo

its not always about the money. i dont believe that nitro really liked valorant or atleast not as much as csgo.

posted about 2 years ago

sova has the most value if he just stays back and throws out darts and drones so that he can give info to his team. only after he expends his util can he then commit to fragging out.

posted about 2 years ago

i really dont get why vlr users are shit talking hiko. he plays sova which is not really a frag heavy agent and when hiko is put in a clutch situation most of the times he delivers

posted about 2 years ago

steel was dropped because the team needed a new direction and some of the players didnt want to play with steel anymore(doesnt mean they hate him). nitro didnt get dropped he left cause he now had an opportunity to go back to csgo

there is a lot of lore that hints that that guy is KAY/O plus the voice actor of KAY/O is african-american

posted about 2 years ago

its either that both teams had an agreement to play on sg servers or the tournament organizers demanded it.

filipinos usually dont have problems with playing on SG servers but there was a typhoon that struck us last december and alot of our internet infrastructure got damaged which resulted in bad routing to servers in any game.

posted about 2 years ago

thank you for understanding TMosura <3

posted about 2 years ago

thank you my fellow filipino. idk why people deem it as something controversial or that im hating on ONIC

posted about 2 years ago

yep yep ONIC clearly had better strategies than SBE but a lot of times the rounds were determined by duels and ping definitely has a lot to do with that

posted about 2 years ago

both maps on SG server. 2 players on SBE had 100+ ping

posted about 2 years ago

look im not taking anything away from onic. clearly they were the better team this time but game 2 shouldve been played on HK servers to atleast make it a fair fight.

posted about 2 years ago

did you watch the game? 2 players on SBE literally had 100+ ping. and also in VCT if filipinos play against SG or Indo players the games are rotated back and forth between SG and HK servers.

posted about 2 years ago

lmao people are really down fragging me because im saying that the games need to be played on HK servers too.

posted about 2 years ago

others play on HK servers... HK is relatively close to SEA

posted about 2 years ago

i dont get your point. "cause this is SEA championship" what does that have to do with the servers the players play on?

posted about 2 years ago

dude idc if SBE loses just give them a fighting chance when it comes to server picks
