I feel like people are really underestimating T1. Historically, APAC has gotten shit on at almost every LAN event, sure we would have 1 or 2 good teams go deep but the overall performances was very poor. Sure DRX got 3rd but no other APAC team made it out of groups and PRX got grouped by Leviathan and Liquid.
Meanwhile, T1 basically brought in VERY high performing players from NA, everyone unanimously agree Sayaplayer and Xeta were top 4 in their respective roles in NA, and Ban was the best player on the best T2 team at the time. If this T1 roster was in NA, I would have them beating NRG and EG. I think T1 could easily challenge DRX for best team in Pacific because of this.
X beat Y beat by 5 rounds and Y beat Z by 5 rounds therefore X is better than Z by 10 rounds!

They're basically an NA team, Xeta, Sayaplayer, Ban hasn't played versus an APAC team in a whole year
Xeta was the glue the made C9 a top 5 team, Sayaplayer a carry duelist that made Guard top 4, Ban was a rising NA star, Munchkin was the best Korean export in Japan, and I don't know the last player
PRX will likely beat them, but in my predictions I have T1 going very far
Also, "prime" PRX just got grouped by Liquid and Leviathan, and they're doing no roster changes. They're a good team but they need to revitalize themselves and improve next year.

I'm heavily biased towards T1 because I strongly believe in Sayaplayer + Munchkin. I see GE climbing the list and GenG falling down depending on how they finish their rosters. I really like how GE is merging Ayrin with OCE players, I feel like that's a better fit. Top 4 is a toss up, even DRX could slip up and lose to PRX or Zeta. DTN could fall heavily, but as long as they sign Seoldam I think they should be on the same level as Secret and Talon. Honestly, it's crazy how much PH players there are in the 3 SEA teams. Talon might be the strongest SEA team after PRX, thai pride? RRQ will be last or before last.
Compare that to what we had before franchising:
