It’s risky though, cuz what if EG has been hiding their haven all event on purpose? It’s possible because they didn’t ban haven at previous events

EG 2-0
LOUD 2-1

If EG win it’ll be the biggest underdog story of all time, not just this year

posted 8 months ago

That’s the igl’s fault lol, boostio’s igling was kinda shit at the start of the season

Derrek will most likely be replaced, and C9 may be looking for an igl change, in which case they’ll need to find another initiator

posted 9 months ago

I imagine as one of the highest rated initiators at champs last year and the unfortunate situation with EG mid season, BcJ probably has more of a hunger now than ever to get back to competing on the starting squad of a roster. If he leaves EG after champs, which I think is likely, do you guys foresee him getting another shot at a franchised team? I don’t see why not, as EG’s ascension to one of the best teams in the world wasn’t necessarily due to BcJ being the problem. If so, what roster would he most likely join?

Zekken can flex. If you’d rather have zekken as primary duelist, then yeah nismo would be a better pickup

posted 9 months ago

Why so sure FNS isn’t joining? George geddes just confirmed that FNS is likely leaving NRG

posted 9 months ago

I’m assuming he isn’t gonna want to sit on the EG bench for another year, plus he’s good enough for franchising on the initiator role

posted 9 months ago

Some possible Sentinels 2024 rosters include:

Zekken
TenZ
Sacy
Pancada
FNS

Zekken
TenZ
Sacy
s0m
FNS

Zekken
TenZ
BcJ
s0m
FNS

If TenZ retires you could replace him with aspas or yay.

Whoever wins the event deserves to win champs, and only them

Agreed, I don’t think EG improved after his exit because he was necessarily the problem, rather that Demon1 allowed better flexibility within the team. BcJ 100% deserves a spot on a franchised team.

Imo, next year will be the best year for valorant ever. This year showed some advantages and disadvantages of franchising, and also exposed a ton of frauds that do not deserve to be in franchising. I honestly think that with all the talent in tier 2 and the frauds exposed, most teams that make changes will drastically improve for next year. Plus, we have an additional team in each league now that fought their way into qualification and wasn’t given a free spot, so those teams are likely to be good.

We don’t know for sure but the screenshot showed Sacy Zekken and TenZ. There’s rumors SEN are scrimming without marved right now

posted 9 months ago

SEN is destroying everyone in scrims they’re so back

posted 9 months ago

Definitely a chance, especially Fnatic if they can return to Tokyo form. I still think EG and PRX are favored though.

posted 9 months ago

Either EG or PRX, whichever one wins the upper final and gets the 2 map bans. The skill gap between the four teams remaining is small enough that whichever team is allowed to ban their worse maps and play only their best will for sure have a huge advantage and win the tournament.

Still, George had a super weird fixation on her. EG were bad, but they were far from the worst team in franchising, and it was just weird how many tweets he made about her compared to any other coaches
