maru will win it all

Replace loud with lev and both groups are equal

posted about 3 years ago

Riot is sending the top seeds of the 4 most competitive regions straight into playoffs. Loud vs Lev would just prove which region is more of a "one team region"

I'm afraid thats not how it works xD

The game isn't all about individual mechanics though. It's called a super 'team' for a reason.

Their individual skills aren't the best but they have insane chemistry

Valorant is only their 4th most popular shooter games, after sudden attack, pubg, and overwatch. I think the main reason for that is because csgo wasn't as popular in korea, instead sudden attack was their main shooter game for the past decade. Plus none of the big LoL orgs (T1, GenG) are signing valorant players.

They actually filled up the whole arena. Insane crowd.

He is actually insane, consistently top fragging against major teams like zeta and cr even though their team is losing.

You mean CIS vs EU? CIS is a part of EMEA.

Right. I agree with the points you've made about the fast-paced meta changes and the competitive scene being only a year old. But adapting to the meta, including the roster changes you've mentioned and changes in team compositions, contributes to the team's overall skill level and this is evident in their global event results. Because at the end of the day, what decides a winner and a loser is the result itself, not the process.

What point are you disproving? I never said JP>KR? in fact it should be KR>JP

posted about 3 years ago

and your point is?

posted about 3 years ago

Understandable. Not everyone has the same taste in matches.

posted about 3 years ago

Wait, what? DRX eliminated PRX in playoffs and the only reason PRX was placed higher than DRX was because DRX faced Optic, the eventual winners of the event. Same logic behind why you said xerxia couldn't make out of groups.

posted about 3 years ago

Not everyone watches games solely because they want to know who wins. There's so much to learn from watching pro games for example util usage and strategies.

How is SEA>KR? I just want to know your opinion behind it

posted about 3 years ago

You asked me when SEA didn't qualify in playoffs, and I gave you the answer. PRX also didn't make it to playoffs btw. Based on results JP and KR performed better than SEA.

posted about 3 years ago

PRX lost to both DRX and ZETA last masters, and PRX lost to DRX in group stage in masters 3. The only event when SEA performed better than KR and JP was in champions.

posted about 3 years ago

Masters 3, and they performed worse than KR and JP in last masters.

posted about 3 years ago

They lost to TL though

posted about 3 years ago

But we're talking about consistency, right? Masters 3 PRX was eliminated in group stage, and last masters DRX and ZETA arguably performed better than SEA teams.

posted about 3 years ago

Xerxia was eliminated in group stage last masters. DRX got out of groups in every events except for last champions

posted about 3 years ago

Based on results, when did SEA consistently perform better than KR and JP?

posted about 3 years ago

Did SEA have any good runs in global competitions though? The best performance I can recall is PRX's run last masters.

Do you really think Scout became a great player solely because he played in LPL? He had his talent and potential as a basis, he would've succeeded in LCK as well. You can't say LPL>LCK when it's flooded with Koreans players.

posted about 3 years ago

They are consistently performing worse than KR and JP's "fluke" runs though

posted about 3 years ago

The only reason they grew in LPL was because Chinese teams simply paid more than Korean teams. They are still Korean players.

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah, but your argument was that China has better depth in their teams. And the fact that Chinese teams have Korean players in it really shows how impactful they are. Remember it's a team game

posted about 3 years ago

Chinese teams have korean players in them while korean teams do not have chinese players.

I'm seeing matches live on twitch rn but there are no updates on vlr about the brackets so I'm hella confused.

Realise how optic didn't play breeze a single time during this event. Idk if they aren't confident, or they're saving strats for finals.

posted about 3 years ago

Even though they failed to move on to the grand finals, they've performed way better than people expected them. Very few have expected them to even make it out of group stage at the start of the tournament, but they've made so many upsets and had a tremendous run on this event. Historic moment for Japan's VCT. Hoping them to come back stronger in Masters 2!

It's not an excuse? you don't seem to understand how important strats are in this game.

Valorant isn't all about getting frags and having good aim, FNS still brings great impact from his IGLing.

posted about 3 years ago

please tell me this is a satire

posted about 3 years ago

Hopefully zeta still comes back strong after their amazing run on this event, unlike KRU

posted about 3 years ago

Zeta is similar to KRU's run back in champions, but currently ZETA > KRU

Tottenham is a football club that hasn't won a single trophy

posted about 3 years ago

"other than IGLing" his IGLing literally makes up for his whiffs

posted about 3 years ago

rounds FNS threw < rounds optic won by his IGL. Valorant isn't solely based on aim, it requires tactics and setplays. FNS did throw couple easy rounds and his aim is inconsistent, but he needs some respect for his IGL.

posted about 3 years ago

You gotta give some respect to FNS for his IGL play. He's not mechanically talented, but he comes up with damn good setplays that wins them rounds.

posted about 3 years ago

that's irrelevant lmao

posted about 3 years ago

you're saying optic purposely threw the pistol?

posted about 3 years ago

Ok I can't shield him from that, was definitely a throw
