Everything you said might be completely correct but his roundezvous is absolutely busted. That's all what I have to say. Almost as fast as jett dash but you can go anywhere in 15 or 20 m range or whatever it is. On top of that it recharges every 20 secs. I think that's a little overpowered

Sacy talks about yay

In the Sacy and Yay thread, yay said this about changing as a person:

https://www.vlr.gg/post/1058416/sacy-talks-about-yay

I was shitty to some people in the past. ngl to this day its probably one of my biggest regrets as a person.
before valorant/csgo, I used to watch COD where it was a constant norm and thought success equated to shit talk. in csgo, I put other people down to try and bring up my own confidence. in reality, I did this because I was unhappy as a person. I had a lot of problems both related to a toxic environment at home, and just in my life.
near the start of beta for VALORANT. I had a period of 3-4 months in which I was severely depressed (legitimately bed ridden for that duration). it's a feeling I wish no one has to experience ever. during that period, I had family members essentially even making it worse. won't go into too much detail, but essentially it was daily pressure of "this is God's way of punishing you as you're not following his plan".
all in all, to get out of that hole my perspective changed a ton. I didn't want to be constantly unhappy nor did I want to contribute to ruining another person's day. plus I started to question why I felt the way I did about X. fast forward a month and I started to grind VALORANT and eventually got my shot on a team. this lead to me eventually getting evicted out of my household as I wanted to pursue VALORANT over a traditional job (plus I took the COVID vaccine/ + other religion stuff).
I really do appreciate though the comments here. I'm glad I'm able to have a positive even if small for people who I don't know. not perfect by any means, but hey I'm trying my best.

My inspiration, man. More people need to be like this.

Did the math...and no (but the chances are like at 99.9%)

Assuming OpTic bottoms out they would finish out with 795 points (5th-6th finish).

With that XSET and Luminosity would both have to make masters and finish top 2.

Any other NA team would have to win masters to pass OpTic.

With this in mind Luminosity have to win masters (1000 pts) and XSET get 2nd place in masters (750 pts) for OpTic to have to compete in the LCQ.

If Luminosity or any other NA playoff team gets 2nd in masters, OpTic would still have more points.

This is according to someone who replied to Yay asking if they were guaranteed for champs. I mean, the odds of this happening are almost literally impossible but I had to say it for the sake of it ✌

Good read, redlight. Thanks for the recap. #GREENWALL btw

I made a thread which had my personal overall recap of the group stage but as it is not stickied, many will miss it. So, imma post it here as well ✌

So,

What an amazing group stage. North America is looking good TBH. Excited for Copenhagen to say the least.

Here is a brief summary of the Group Stage by me:

1. First Seeds, Optic Gaming and XSET:

  1. Optic and XSET, topping their groups and being the 1st seeds. Major contenders for the Top 2 spots in playoffs. Expected from Optic as they are International Champions right now but also kind of from XSET as well.
XSET has consistently been a top 5 team in North America but always haven't been able to push over the final hurdle to qualify for an International event. Can they finally do it this time?

2. Second Seeds, Ghost Gaming and Faze Clan:

  1. Ghost Gaming and Faze Clan take the 2nd seeds of their respective groups. Both teams have improved a lot and are major contenders for one of the Top 2 spots in playoffs.
Ghost Gaming especially, looking incredible with their Duelist/Flex player, Ghost Nismo averaging a KD of 1.34 in the Group Stage. It's the highest of any player.
Faze Clan's star duo, Babybay and Dicey also in the top 10 players with the highest KD in the Group Stage.
If these two teams are firing at all cylinders then acquiring a spot for Masters 2: Copenhagen will be no big surprise.

3. Third Seeds, 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses:

  1. 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses acquire the 3rd seeds of their respective groups. Both teams have defeated the 1st seeds(XSET and Optic) of their respective groups but their loses to others has put them a little behind in seeding. Regardless, this just shows that the competition is very fierce and tough in North America right now.
Anyone can make a wonderful run in the playoffs to qualify for Masters 2: Copenhagen. Very much including the likes of fan favourites, 100T Thieves and recent upcomers, Evil Geniuses.

4. Fourth Seeds, Luminosity Gaming and NRG:

  1. LG and NRG with the 4th seeds. Even though LG started out very good in their group, their Map Differential caused them to be the 4th seed.
NRG won their last game in their group, against The Guard to qualify over them for the playoffs. Both teams, LG and NRG will have to make a lower bracket run to qualify for Masters 2: Copenhagen.

5. Sadge, TSM, Sentinels, Cloud9 and The Guard:

  1. Lastly, Press F to pay respects for TSM, Sentinels, Cloud9 and The Guard. Every single one of these teams were fan favourites for the playoffs.
Especially, The Guard and Cloud9, which were the Top 1 and Top 3 North American teams in Stage 1. Optic being the 2nd, but they went out and won the whole dang first International event of 2022.
TSM and SEN, clout match, when? On a real note, SEN completely bombed out with a 0-5 result in the Group Stage. Their year is basically over, unless, Ghost Gaming completely lose out in playoffs and don't win a single match. Thus, granting SEN the final LCQ spot over Ghost. Much unlikely though. TSM improved considerably but it wasn't enough and their year is completely over as they don't have close to enough circuit points to qualify for LCQ.
We will definitely see Cloud9 and potentially The Guard in the LCQ, though. If the The Guard don't qualify for Champions because of their already existing circuit points from Stage 1, they will participate in LCQ for the final and third spot for North America in Champions. If no North American team other than Optic(already almost guaranteed in Champions) go far in Masters 2: Copenhagen then The Guard could potentially, automatically qualify for Champions.

the grand finals of copenhagen will feature fnatic and optic gaming. fnatic will take a comfortable lead of 12-0 on map 5 due to Jake "BOASTER" Howards in game leading. unfortunately Pujan "FNS" Mehta has died to a meth overdose after the 12th round. he was 0-12 in the match.(he has 9 assists tho) who will step up to the plate and guide optic to victory in this grand final???

mocking.

immediately the 17 yr old prodigy gets to work with an ace in the pistol round. after the pistol round he says "these eu kids are so free" and continues to go on a rampage. he helps optic make an impossible comeback of 14-12 and are your winners of copenhagen.
