Some yappers will say pressure or music (usually baiters). Real answer is that there’s a disconnect in pace between him and the rest of the team. He’s playing at the same pace as last year while the rest of the team is playing at a slower pace.

You might be surprised to hear this but G2/Guard has always played around how their duelists want to play. They weren’t always a slow team. The Guard was more DRX-like in terms of big executes that were fast paced with Saya, slower with a lot of pace changes with Tex, and very slow with icy. They know how to play at different speeds.

G2 at their peak can clear anyone in the world, they don’t win tournaments because they love to sell the bag in bo5s for whatever reason
