T1 is a south korean organization, they are one of the most popular orgs in all of esports known mainly for their league of legends division of superstars like faker and keria. They have won worlds 5 times and were formerly known as Sk telecom (which is a sponsor). In valorant t1 were one of the first ever orgs to sign players but started in north america as it was the first ever real competitive region, with the start of franchising they switched over to south korea and apac. Around this time headcoach autumn joined the team. Before 2025 they didnt do much though, bombing out of lock in making masters tokyo aswell as champs 2023 and getting only 1 win at both events. They also made masters shanghai off of a miracle playoffs run in playoffs but won only a singular map. 2024 was dominated by roster moves and other struggles. At the start of 2025 they picked up korean superstars buzz and meteor after already having picked up igl stax at the end of 2024. After a good offseason and a rough kickoff they were rated last going into masters bangkok. Off of incredible performances from their players they managed to win the whole event. Because of some struggles internally they bombed out of stage 1 and are looking to bounce back.

Im currently not sure what they will play on the rest of the maps, sunset i can imagine is a copy of the lotus comp and for icebox and bind i have no idea (maybe t1 play their old kayo comp on bind) meteor can play every role though hes a very flexible player

Sylvan "bullying" drama info:
In a dcoumentary t1 released on their official valorant channel ( https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=n_foVI63y64&pp=ygULdDEgdmFsb3JhbnTSBwkJzQkBhyohjO8%3D ) a toxic enviroment in the team is shown in multiple instances with no one really taking accountability towards their own mistakes or actually just saying stuff like "thats on me" but rather blaming others, buzz and stax in particular do this a lot, stax towards pretty much everyone while buzz is targeting it mostly at sylvan. Autumn too participates in this critizising sylvan a lot for his aim (while he is legit 3rd highest fragger). By doing this he is one of the origins of this atmosohere. Overall just showing a toxic atmosphere in the team with the only ones really spreading positivity being meteor cheonggak (the assistant coach) and carpe. Sylvan tries to defend himself at first but gets more and more quiet towards the end, izu is just overall extremely quiet.
In my personal opinion people are a bit too hard reacting, there are for sure more disfuncional teams but this is the first real insite like this we have ever gotten, rather than the blaming the thing with noone taking accountability for their own mistakes is a huge problem and they need to fix it asap (if they havent already) i would also get a mental coach.

T1 coaches info:
Autumn: Headcoach, has been around for multiple years, former c9 coach, former csgo pro together with stax, good at antistratting and inventing comps, odd decisions in terms of roster aswell as map pool and more. The toxic team enviroment of t1 gets put down to him a lot. I actually hate the way autumm operates as a hc his decisions comps and roster wise dont make sense to me sometimes.

Cheonggak: assistant coach, was on t1 during 2023 then switched over to wolves and came back for this year, not much info tbh but he was one of the most positive people and seemed to help sylvan a lot.

Indigo: assistant coach, on nongshim redforce in 2024 korean challengers (NOT the one that is now in tier 1 and won ascension) idk much about the guy, the only thing he did in the t1 documentary was clap

Carpe: assistant coach/sub, former overwatch pro and known for always coming 2nd there, joined t1 in 2022 and was very inconsistent, his 2v5 ace clutch against fut on pearl remains in my head forever. Switched to ac for the 2025 season but got subbed in for sylvan for the end of kickoff and the first game of masters bangkok (which t1 obviously won) kept the team together during the entire year so far, very smart and supportive towards sylvan in particular
