They talk shit sure, but they do it in the name of entertainment, clearly you're gonna reply "But it's not entertaining" and that's your opinion. Clearly since Sentinels and G2 were throwing this trash talk at each other, and it turned out that both the G2-Sentinels matches were the highest watched matches in VCT, higher than even the Grand Finals.. I'd say it's a working strategy.

For as far as I am aware, Franchising just means that rosters can buy their spot in the league.. Rather than earn it, and players aren't stuck to that spot but the orgs are... So I think VCT should still happen

I always felt that in CS, the XSET roster (and other names/orgs they represented) was by far the most successful female roster.
For them to switch to Valorant and being rumoured to sign with G2, makes me excited as a G2 fan.

EMEA definitely has a lot to prove still, and NA got a big head start with a lot of Tier 1 CS pro's making the jump. And I'd probably agree that NA is the better region right now, yet I would never count EMEA out of an upset against the NA teams.

G2 have been proving that they deserved that Berlin spot, and of course it's a seeding match and it doesn't matter too much.. It's nice to see a 9-3 half against the best team in the world

It's not unrealistic, it's to build it's economy gotta keep it somewhat fair in amount of teams to everyone. And from here on out they can buid further seeing which teams deserve more, and which teams maybe don't quite deserve the spots they've gotten. They couldn't just copy CS in who are the best regions, seeing as Vision Strikers are absolutely fantastic, that would've been unfair. After Challengers are over I'm certain a lot of things will change again in VCT

It's funny really, they are the undisputed #1 team until they get beaten by someone so they shouldn't be so bothered about an org known for it's trash talk and quality content. But they really seem bothered by it, weird cause Sentinels' socials team seemed to have fun with G2 on Twitter in the build up :D
