What do you guys expect for this lineup coming to international stage? I'm really excited after seeing them playing throughout 2021.

BR:

  • VK and LOUD probably will be tier 1 global teams in Masters and Champs
  • New big orgs will enter the scenario in the 2 split
  • This year, almost every BR team will be in international playoffs
  • A new meta based on high-tempo will dominate the international scene, with SEA, BR and KR being the pioneers

SEA is better than NA rn imo

posted about 2 years ago

wow really? almost like Brazil, kinda strange that KR have low salaries

the game was close af, but TEDDY WAS THERE

Europeans users, how many servers the region have? Brazil have only São Paulo (I've always played with 5ms), so it's kinda strange to see people from various countries to play with each other.

posted about 2 years ago

So VS continues to be the TOP 1 from KR, right? Any REAL contender?

posted about 2 years ago

Agree, group B will probably be a battle of tier 1 teams while group A will be the "underdogs" teams playing to see who's going to be eliminated in the playoffs to the group B teams.

BR - Heat, Xand and Jzz
TR - cNed
SEA - DubsteP, f0rsaken and Patiphan
EU - Derke
KR - Seoldam ofc
NA - Yay and TenZ

if TSM is the NA's last hope, China's the best region in Valorant

they probably used champs as metric, comparing the expectations between BR and NA scene for champs:

NA were the only region to play toe-to-toe against EMEA, so they're expected to AT LEAST get playoffs, but they crumbled
BR were playing really bad and the expectations for them were low, maybe 1 win for each team and maybe 1 team to playoffs

BR played well against Acend, Gambit and Sentinels (the two finalists and the seed 1 from NA), got 2 wins but could've won all matches (except against SEA)
NA played bad against EMEA, almost lost to BR and crumbled to LATAM/SEA, which can be "unacceptable" for a major region who won the first international and achieved finals in the second one.

US INVITED Pelé to teach YOU GUYS how to play soccer LMAO

yeah, it works like a "academy" to the tier 1 orgs

posted about 2 years ago

the answer to that thread is:

we need to see them playing in international stage

posted about 2 years ago

there's like 4 strong teams in LAS to play against BR teams, NA don't have the same scenario cuz LAN teams are really bad, they usually scrim against t2/3 NA teams.

posted about 2 years ago

Aspas smurffed in NA radiant ranked playing from Brazil with +100ms, wdym?

posted about 2 years ago

They need time, I think VK are indisputed the best team from BR

posted about 2 years ago

Sacy, Heat or Mw

Aspas can be the next contender, but didn't played in international stage yet

Murizzz is really good too, but in terms of "everyone in their 100% and main agents" scenario, I would say these 3 players.

So far, MIBR/NIP/LOUD looking REALLY strong. Los Grandes showing that there's room for improvement, Botafogo and TBK I really don't know what to expect

also handball - Argentina

Maradona and his hand goal

posted about 2 years ago

yeah, Germany always've been a title contender. Actually it's like a "standard" to Brazil, Argentina, France, Italy and Germany to be title contenders lol

they were in WC 2014 and Olympic Games 2016, but didn't managed to win both of them. We need to wait, France is looking strong too.

2 Pan-Americano Silvers
2 Pan-Americano Bronzes

it's hard to say right now cuz Germany have a new team now, France and Italy too, but Brazil and Argentina are almost the same team from 2018 World Cup. I would say Brazil and Argentina have the two stronger teams from the America Continent.

that's what I'm saying, the amount of players leaving KR is really sad, I don't know what will happen when LPL orgs start to import players.

honestly, Japan scene is looking bigger than the Korean scene, that's a shame
