It's hard to judge cuz it's ranked and everyone can hit shots in valorant since movement is super slow, the duelist role is oversaturated with free agents but if you believe in yourself then go for it , why not? In terms of career opportunities flex role is better tho

Last time I competed at a more or less high level(top 8 cis team in crossfire, no org no salary tho because we had only 1 org interested in crossfire and their team was winning everything in the region for 5 years straight+top 4 and top 2 at crossfire stars(world championship) we just met at teamspeak servers/while playing pugs and then scrimmed 24/7, current valorant has a much larger pool of players to form a team with so it should be even easier for you, you get contacts in tier 3-tier 2, you play pugs together, some team invites you for a tryout and that's it.
