They get glazed every year and they end up just placing ok at every international. Why do so many people hype up DRX?

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of more T1 teams, but besides what #2 said, it also conflicts with the fact that a non insignificant amount of GC teams are orgs that already exist in T1 & T2, which would stop ascension of either a GC team or T2 team.

From what I remember Optic already was thinking of not staying in valorant and they also weren't chosen for franchising so they just decided it was best to pull out and not go into T2
I don't think there's any chance of an optic roster happening again because they already didn't want to be in the scene before franchising happened.

Is furia good at any other esports? I dont follow anything else but is furia not just gonna bleed out of money from constant roster cycling and no winnings?
Not saying 2G is any more stable as an org but maybe it wouldn't be that much less stable then furia in 5 years
That's the thing though, every time they rebuild they do no better than they did the last year. I know Brazil isn't exactly the best region in the world, but there has to be good coaches and players that play better than this.
Or maybe its just a curse, FURIA is doomed to suck every year, plagued with visa and roster issues
Why do the ascension teams which show at least SOME promise of doing better in the future get no future in T1 if they have a bad year, and FURIA gets to be bad every year, with multiple rosters, and keep their spot 😭

generationally though? KOI is probably the worst. In they're entire existence in Valorant they have done absolutely nothing. Furia has at least been to 2 champs, even if they placed bad.
Its a tac shooter with abilities, if someone dashes at you with a shotgun and kills you, you adjust. A good player will inevitably get a kill with the judge, but they can easily be punished as long as you play from long range or don't dry peak corners
The problem is valorant isn't a game for fast paced movement. Look at neon. They buffed her to have perfect aim while sliding and she dominated the game for the entire time she had the buff.
There is also a lack of verticality in valorant, there are a few things you can stand on top of or move up to, but nothing crazy high up or any maps where vertical movement is normal.
they are so lucky apeks is actually a joke team because if a real ascension team was in T1 EMEA, they wouldn't stand a chance at staying in franchising

It "matters" because people like to represent the area they come from, so even if they're specific favorite team doesn't win, it still feels like a win for your side of the world. It's basic trash talk.
The reason he fell out of the pro meta is because without his rechargeable util, he fundamentally can only either push onto site or play for the bomb, not both. This is a necessary thing for most initiators to have (think gekko flash/wingman, sova dart, breach stun, etc.). Without it, he plays no better if not worse than other initiators as other initiator util works better in more situations (KAYO knife, Skye Flash, Breach Aftershock).
As for in ranked, he's about as useful as breach, annoying if the player is good, useless if the player is bad. So in actual gameplay he's probably about as strong as he was before, but for pro play, where there is set strats, executes, hard counters, etc. there's just no reason to pick him over other characters at the moment.
No one is a bigger fraud than as0na he's buttcheeks strategically but every once in a while he'll get a 4k and then the masses try to tell you he's top 5 duelists itw
Riot funds the various stream deals, ascension, and sets up the brackets. Everything else is all on the orgs. Sponsors vary from region to region so the quality is very different per area.
Can I get a rundown on what has been said? I watched the Sean Gares video but he basically says nothing for 6 minutes.
