i'd like to clarify that it has nothing to do with being quiet for 10 minutes its the fact that you just sit there waiting to play again, repeating your game plan in your head over and over until it feels like you're no longer playing the same game as you were before

its not about ruining your mental its about your nerves coming back
i once had a 10 minute tech pause in the 2nd half of a game and despite not being nervous at all while playing the game up until that point the tech pause made my nerves come back because you just sit there, you cant move in game, you cant talk about the game or your plan to your teammates, you're just alone with your thoughts

all of your takes here expose you as someone who has never experienced playing in a tournament before and as such you dont understand how massive the mental aspect of it is
