I think Bren esports is definitely the dark horse goign into berlin.
They have some mad upset potential,
i watched them for the first time todya and was thoroughly impressed

posted about 4 years ago

doubt it.

s1mple is definitely more well known than tenz.

posted about 4 years ago

what lmao

posted about 4 years ago

its not prefire, just peekers advantage.

posted about 4 years ago

????????????

posted about 4 years ago

Why is everyone talking about Tenz right now?
Its gambit vs smb..what does tenz have to do with this lmao...

posted about 4 years ago

You are one delusional fan man
you can't use this meme when sentinels has won the only official international LAN tournament lmao

posted about 4 years ago

Same, after their first show in stage 2 emea, i was really disappointed with their performance especially with all the hype that sorrounded them but they def turned it around huh

posted about 4 years ago

either you are underestimating sentinels or just a hater lmao
its definitely debatable who will win but sentinels are 100% the favorites to win the whole thing.

Because the benefits of lower ping outweigh the benefits of high ping.
The only situation where you'd rather have higher ping is when you wide swing someone and abuse peekers advantage.
There is no other benefit than this.

posted about 4 years ago

The disadvantages definitely outweigh having lower ping,
im just talking about how the gambit players were losing duels. It seemed to me like smb were just wide swinging and killing them. That is all, i never said they had adv being on higher ping but rather that they just abusing it.

posted about 4 years ago

yes..peekers advantage comes from the ping diff...
You don't have peekers advantage on LAN, hence pros say you can hold angles on LAN and such..

posted about 4 years ago

just watch this..if you understand how an FPS game works, you will eaasily know the massive benefit (ofc with disadvantages too) that this has
https://twitter.com/reqzcs/status/1428707478901043205

posted about 4 years ago

you are honestly mistaken. low ping only helps when holding angles.
High ping helps you to take wider swings.

posted about 4 years ago

I understand gambit at pretty bad in their t side but looking the way they are losing their duels, ping diff is pretty evident.

posted about 4 years ago

this is not true. there is a ping advantage.

posted about 4 years ago

false

posted about 4 years ago

If you have higher ping than the person you swinging,
when you swing to take the duel and stop and fire your gun, o nthe enemy's screen you'd still be moving but the bullet woudl've shot already

posted about 4 years ago

mans just talking out of his ass

posted about 4 years ago

Is SMB just abusing their high ping or do they just have that much of a gap in aim between them and gambit?
It does to me atleast that they are just wide swinging whether of op or rifle and out dueling these gambit players

posted about 4 years ago

yeah nats truly is just different,
i remember dapr saying he stole some cypher and viper tech from him during the scrims they played in iceland

nice bait 0/8

It is really hard to make the argument that he is not the best player in the world.
He continues to perform excellently in all his games and during pressure too.
People had doubts if he would perform well on LAN and he completely proved them wrong. He might've even had the best performance of his career and that too it was on LAN.
So as of right now, with the data we have to us, he is definitely the best player we know of, or the best duelist player if you want to categorize it.

Group 1: NA1 , SEA 1 , EU 4, LATAM
Group 2: EU 1, JP 2, KR 2, BR 2
Group 3: KR 1, NA 3, EU 2, BR 1
Group 4: JP 1, NA 2, EU 3, SEA 2

These are my predictions of how the groups are going to be.
Thoughts?

doesnt SMB have more fans?
their turkish fanbase is absolutely insane

Its not to do with the high population,
In india, people look down upon these kind of occupations. Being an esports pro is not respected in the normal traditional indian household.
Unless indians mature in these senses, india has a very very long way to go until it is a major esport hub

The problem is the fact that middle east servers are in EU region.
If middle east server was in Asia, then the teams would get more of a free choice in which server they wanted to play.

Anyone know why T1 does not attend any of these tier 2 tier 3 tournies like NSG and such? They need so much official match prac, it is so evident from their matches that they lack this regardless of the massive amount of experience they have.
Pretty sure they aren't restricted by riot either for placing too high, so why?

posted about 4 years ago

2-1 for Acend
I think SMB will win map 1 and then get reverse swept

posted about 4 years ago

lowel sage is pretty meh rn
Turko sage is best in EU at the moment imo
the other 2 i agree

Man fPX fucked my preds so hard, :(

posted about 4 years ago

I would love to say that but after their match agasint SMB, i would like to not be as confident..
My perspective got a lil foggy after getting ass whooped by SMB ngl

posted about 4 years ago

its just fun to watch SMB in all honesty and i kinda want turkey to do well in internatinal stage :)

posted about 4 years ago

imma be sad if both gambit and g2 lose today and my whole pred is fked..

  1. Sen
  2. SMB
  3. Acend
  4. 100T
  5. VS
  6. Envy
  7. Gambit
  8. G2
posted about 4 years ago

Yeah but that is part of their game plan.
If you think that is an issue then it all leads to the coach right? Cuz the coach and igl must be coming up with a game plan and their main plan is , is to laways get wardell on the awp by round 3 and try n get a pick.

posted about 4 years ago

Hard to tell without actually being part of the teams and listening into their comms and shit.
However, from an outside perspective, it does seem like they have a weak IGL. I'm not aying hazed is a bad player but his IGL skills arent tier 1 level yet. They rely too much on individual brilliance imo.

cool

posted about 4 years ago

they don't have patiphan for berlin tho right?

posted about 4 years ago

It's shaky aim cuz their sens is so damn high. Thats all it is.

posted about 4 years ago

true,
mans gonna get 10x more accidentals so a nervous asuna is a good asuna for 100t :)

posted about 4 years ago

factuals

posted about 4 years ago

im sure the expereince factor doesn't come in nervousness. Every pro feels a lil nervous in every LAN when you get to see your opponent right accross your table. It's more like in the clutches and important round decisions where the experience to think under that pressure comes to play and i think 100T is just better than envy in those situations.
Although, if envy go in with a fearless mindset that yay and food is just gonna crazy and win them every duel, then all that experience isnt gonna do shit. SO for envy is more up in the air btu 100t, im confident they can make a top 4 finish.

posted about 4 years ago

Cned is better but not by a lot. Wardell is up there pretty sure.

posted about 4 years ago

https://www.hltv.org/events/5469/iem-cologne-2021
something like that,
groups into single elim :)

posted about 4 years ago

100T is probably getting a top 4 finish in Berlin imo
Envy is up in the air, they might just win the entire thing or bomb out in the 6-8th position.

posted about 4 years ago

I'd like a group format into a SINGLE elim bracket.
