Funny 2nd half on Icebox tbh! Tons of chaotic moments.

CREA has been the most useless player in every NIP roster so far and continues this streak with this roster too. Overall I'd put him just as useless as Dicey.

posted about 3 years ago

Oh boy! Well, now TL the org and the players doesn't need to feel bad or come up with excuses to kick the "innocent" ec1s.

posted about 3 years ago

They probably didn't like him. He's currently playing FPL on Twistz stream lol. But this guy fell so hard since Heroic days that I don't see 1 single point to bring a player like him.

We don't have to spell it out for you, do we, Team Liquid?

Dicey is the least impactful Jett/Jett OP'er I've seen in pro level. What a waste..

posted about 3 years ago

Either he already has poached some of the more reputable good players like pyth, meddo or they're coming in with 1 or 2 T1/T2 players from CS. No way a big EU org are just coming into the scene "blind" with no "named players"/teams in mind.

posted about 3 years ago

So..

+Meddo
+IGL? (Who?)

posted about 3 years ago

They must have had someone in mind for sure before letting Meddo go, and my guess would be it's a Jett OP player, don't you think?

posted about 3 years ago

It would be a loss for the team, at least short-term. But if they get a CIS player; it would greatly benefit the scene overall. The scene needs CIS viewers. Logically, if they see a top3 team in EU being a majority CIS-roster, then there's no way they wouldn't be able to attract more CIS viewers naturally.

Sucks for Meddo though but he'll for sure get offers by any other teams.

posted about 3 years ago

Very, very surprising. Skill-wise it makes no sense - so what could it be? Unless like 2-3 players have been eyeing on someone in particular to replace him for a while..

posted about 3 years ago

The UK kids have had more than enough time. They've consistently been choking the easiest rounds since beginning of this roster. Tactically, yeah they look decent, but indiviudally - just not there. Get ScreaM 4 better new teammates.

Like I said, if G2 isn't DQ'ed after NiP match DESPITE being 'warned' and them still using the illegal skin after the warn, then it becomes very obvious that Riot is blatantly bias.

https://twitter.com/LordPatata_/status/1327664160042258439/photo/1

So "they have been warned" but the skin is STILL considered breaking the rule and even AFTER this warn G2 continues to use it with NiP so logically G2 should be DQ'ed after the game if NiP doesn't use a more "advantagoues" bug, since apparently now they look at that instead of fixing the bugs OR... you know, replay the matches when both teams are caught breaking the rules?

I mean.. I've been waiting to upgrade for a while now, my 550$ PC from 2012 is dying inside-out.

Where are those RTX 3080's WHEN YOU NEED THEM? Dammit!

posted about 3 years ago

Finally these two teams faces vs. each other. Gonna be a sweet match to watch!

posted about 3 years ago

Like I've been saying; G2 have some fnatic 2014/15 BS magic going on it's insane.

posted about 3 years ago

Well, Zyppan got his shit together now and so did the rest of the team. Nice BS arguement tho when even ardiis playing against them said this about them yesterday. and clearly vs Liquid too, unless you are blind, you couldn't see shao nor Zyppan having the normal impact they usually have since 2 days except RIGHT NOW, rofl. And if you think this G2 we're seeing RN is the NORMAL G2 then you need help. This TL has no future with 4 players that can't aim.

posted about 3 years ago

Cuz from yesterday FPX isn't playing up to their level, just like ardiis said in the interview 15min ago. And it's not like this is a new team, the same mistakes have been the cause of their loss for every tournament now. AWWWWWWFUL afterplants, it's like 80% loss everytime feels like if there's equal or even with 1 man advantage as well as the lack of brits individual skill(or choke) becomes so visible in these matches in key moments that is impossible to lose.

posted about 3 years ago

What do you mean? This happens often for this team. Worst team in afterplants in the entire universe.

Flag absolutely checks out. I know it stings, but facts remain facts.

Time to disband & rebuild. TL should grab some players that have actually had a history in at one point being decent in ANY games & not nonamers that wants to go with 3 duelists against superteams.

posted about 3 years ago

TL get your shit together this time.

woxic vs Happy in a total different game. LUL.

Hopefully woxic finds this game interesting and makes the switch. The Turks are so ready to cheer on a Turkish team in this game.

Why the F do EnVy want 2 snakes in their teams?

posted about 3 years ago

Both are awful and in similar situation. Both were good in beta and is turning shittier by the day since then. I have nothing against any of these players but beside ScreaM, for the rest of the players... this should be the last chance to prove something individually for their respective orgs. TL & NiP should really step in after this tourney and make some changes.

posted about 3 years ago

This is an embarrasing team for an org like NiP. Get bonk or pls drop them and either build around Sayf or cNed, unless a high profile CS player is looking to make the move to VAL.. There's no point in embarrasing your name more with this team..

Liquid playing a bo3? What is this sorcery?

posted about 3 years ago

Good, snakes needs to be dealt with.

posted about 3 years ago

Zyppan timed out for a bit or what? How can G2 have this amount of luck in their ass, lol.

Edit: Here it is: https://twitter.com/Zyppaan/status/1299784362725183501

I mean, this should have been replayed lol.

posted about 3 years ago

True, however they played like shit watching ScreaM's stream. I also don't have high hopes for them going further. Yes, tactically they atleast look decent and have an IGL (unlike G2 LUL) but in the end it all comes down to hitting shots.. Look at FPX for example, put together the best players on one team and look at the results now. G2's also same. I don't think you will go far like in Val with CS bs like "oH BuT hE iS a SupPoRt player".. In liquid's case, it's more like 3-4 supports.. I'll repeat myself, in a few months, once some decent pros from CS makes the switch, there's no way any of these teams like Liquid will be able to compete.

What's your thought on this?

posted about 3 years ago

Group B is too stacked in comparison. And how are both qualifying teams in the same group lol?

GG k1ng was sick!

VS looking strong, especially glow! The legend from 1.6 is back! Can't wait to see them play vs. international teams.

ScreaM that last map tho . . .

Looking at how fast the big orgs are getting involved in this game and has been picking up teams left, right & center. Some signing more notable players than others. This puts some questions in my mind:

  • Are the signings long-term?
  • Will pro players be stuck in contract hell this early into the scene?

Logically it would not be wise by the orgs to pull long-term contracts with any teams as of this phase of the game. Reading up the recent news about 100T releasing 4 of their players makes me think that short-term is the case, well..at least from 100T. Them signing nitr0 immediately as well as keeping Hiko, both very prominent names from CSGO scene - makes me think some of the big orgs, at the very least, are going about it the right way. For example in the case of ScreaM & fish123 where Liquid CEO said :

We really focused and like him as the cornestone for our roster

It's likely the same case with 100T & Hiko given the recent news.

What worries me basically is 'cuz I've seen players that have shown potential very early in the scene to be very scattered among different teams where the rest of the players (in those teams) doesn't seem as skilled as that particular one - cNed & BBL for instance. Would be sad if the signings are long-term..even 6 months, in this stage of the game, seems long in my book. If this is the case with most players they've signed with, that would basically mean career ending moves before their careers even properly started.

I guess I really don't want this scene to end up becoming like CSGO one; where standard contracts became 2+ years each teams where it ended up hurting the player's careers: Either by not being motivated to play with the same teammates anymore or by being benched for years where the price of buying them became enormous. This was the case with no-so-big orgs too.

Thoughts on this matter?

posted about 3 years ago

I don't see how it will. I'm pretty sure G2 will be on downward trajectory starting very soon. From what I've observed from their POV streams is that they seem lost and needs a coach short term but I don't see how it can help them long term as I've not been impressed by them individually either. Each player seem to be calling where to go on the fly: "I THINK we should go A, no?". I think the only reason why they are one of the top teams in EU now is cuz atleast mixwell & pyth (these 2 for sure) switched to this game immediatly while the rest took a while and many more are yet to come - especially now that big orgs are involved. Liquid looks the cleanest followed by FPX imo.

Liquid was REALLY Poggers in this game individually & teamwise.
