I used to play sova alot (imo hes the most fun character to play, but whenever I play him my team always loses but maybe its because of low rank)

I would just play a ton and you find lineups from playing. Memorizing a bunch doesnt help outside of 1-2 maps bcuz youforget alot

Alright, so this might sound bad, but hear me out.

I (18M) am a pro Valorant pro player, and recently, during a team discussion, my IGL (32M) FNS said something that really set me off. We were reviewing a lost match, and he called one of my plays "actual Bronze-tier decision-making." Now, I get it—it's his job to criticize, but after every match of him going -30 I just snapped.

So, mid-conversation, I stood up, walked over, and... well, I decked him. Straight to the nose. It was one clean shot—no follow-ups or anything—but apparently, I hit him hard enough to break it. Chaos ensued, staff got involved, and before I knew it, I was escorted out and—yep—arrested. I’m currently writing this from jail, waiting for my release.

Now, obviously, my career took a hit. I got dropped from the team, but I already got an offer from Shopify Rebellion Gold once I'm out, so I'm not too worried. But my ex-teammates are pissed, calling me unprofessional, unhinged, and saying I threw away a great opportunity. My coach tried to defend my actions but he was dropped too-apparently he put his career on the line for me and it didnt work out.

I get that violence isn’t the answer, but I just felt like I had to stand up for myself. So... AITA?

EDIT: Since a lot of people are asking—no, I don’t regret the punch, but yes, I regret getting caught.

Following the statements made by FNS, Verno had this to say when asked.

"Look, things got a little heated, and yeah, maybe I overreacted—but we move. My lawyers are working with me to get my sentence shortned, and I already have a lot of offers lined up for me once I’m out. My current plan is taking my talents to Shopify Rebellion Gold. New team, new beginnings... and hopefully, fewer assault charges."

If your looking for an EU team with Aura who is fun to watch I suggest Titan Esports Club

"Look, I always knew Verno had a strong right click, but I didn’t think I’d experience it firsthand. One second we’re talking strats, next thing I know, I’m waking up with a broken nose. Tough loss, but at least his aim's improving. Hope he enjoys his new 1v5 situation in jail."

If we only used off season C9 would clear G2
SEN would be shit
Furia would be the best team in the world
GENG would have made Bangkok
PRX would have been the best pacific team
DRX would be shit
LOUD would be shit

Stop using the excuse of they were good in off season. If they cant perform in t1 then they are bad. end of story

  1. Artzin is the MIBR igl
  2. Heat is very flexible and can play Kayo, Fade, Skye, Gekko and Sova. He can also flex to duelist or sentinel if needed
posted 5 months ago

idk if he will he seemed to have left with bad blood towards the management (idk about fns/som and ethan but prob them as well)
if he does tho it be frickin hilarious

posted 5 months ago

imagine if they got Heat instead of NZR, this team would be unstoppable

Fuck you mean talent? Out of the 8 maps hes played in T1 he has shit the bed in 6 and played decent in 2

Since NRG have been leaked to have benched Bonkar and Verno heres who they SHOULD replace them with

Coach

  1. MCE-GOATed coach who is very good at building up rosters and bringing out the best in his players, one of the best minds in the Valo scene and a cutie patotie
  2. Doombros-won a masters for a reason, very good mind for the game

Player

  1. Rossy-Amazing initator player who can flex smokes, flash init, or sentinel as needed. Can help out in comms in the mid round
  2. Brawk-Amazing initaator player from t2
  3. Stellar-yes he is an igl, but he can also frag out and this gives them the option of replacing fns if he continues to shit the bed
posted 5 months ago

because hes a great igl-hes only been underperforming recently due to how he micromanges his team (the asuna effect)

(no SEN/G2 no fixes needed they made the intl)

100T-no fixes during the season can elevate this team to a higher level, once the season ends if there is no sucess they should blow up the roster building around Boostio, Eeiu and Cryo

2G-Gain more confidence and wait for Spikez to turn 18. Spikez is by far their best player and if they achieve no sucess with him then its time to start looking into Brazil/Latam talent. Well see how the season goes but getting rid of LZ is a start

FURIA-Blow up the roster. Build around Heat and make sure hes on his best role whether its initator flex or duelist. Sign any promising NEW Brazil/Latam players, dont recycle old ones unless they are very good, also TuyZ should be a f/a it was be a huge fumble to not pick him up for smokes

LOUD-Luxxo will come in for Tuyz mid season but other than that what this team needs most is time and starts. They will be very strong in the future

KRU-no fix needed just need more time and more strats

MIBR-no fix needed just need more time and more strats

LEV-Take Demon1 off raze and get him motivated to win. All the players on the team are extremly flexible, I made a post preseason on how their roles can work (https://www.vlr.gg/433529/lev-roles-make-perfect-sense/#1) if they do this they will have a higher chance of winning

C9-Blow up the roster. Keep Mitch and Oxy and thats it. So many goated T2 players right now that are better. Id beg rossy and jakee to come back but if they get someone of Brawk/Nismo/Bdog/Adder etc

EG-Get an academy team. This is the reason why so many of their players got better in 23, otherwise build around Yay and Icy, maybe Supa if he doesnt retire

NRG-get an academy team to be back ups if the players you have dont show up. While everyone on NRG have potential, the only 2 who have lived up to it so far are s0m and mada, if verno/ethan/fns continue to perform as is replace them with the academy team members

I mean I dont consider that as a roster fumble as going into that year we all thought SEN had picked up good players (2 world champs, and the xset core which did well at champs) Its more of Dephhh and Sykko suddenly being ass and then SEN scrambiling to have any sort of roster

  2. FNC Let Derke go
  3. FNC Sign Elmapuddy instead of MCE
  4. C9 Sign Immi instead of MCE
  5. LEV Choose to play with Tacolilla instead of Keznit
  6. DRX Choose to play with Foxy9 instead of Zest
  7. FUR Choose to build around Mwzera instead of Dgzin
  8. T1 Choose to build around Xaacurate and cut K1ng instead of a Korean roster
  9. NRG Choose to build around Victor and Crashies instead of FNS and s0m
  10. C9 Drop yay due to 'role issues'
HM: LOUD Choose to pick up Qck

The one considered the greatest igl of all time Pujan "FNS/FiNESSE" Metha will be retiring this year. So far, of the VLR matches that show stats he has played EXACTLY 300 Maps (VLR shows more maps he has played but they dont have the stats for them).

On those 300 maps he has gotten 31 4ks.
0 in 2025 (so far), 0 in 2024, 10 in 2023, 9 in 2022, 12 in 2021.
His record in a series is 3 4ks vs 100T in NA Stage 3 2021. His record of 4ks in a series on an international stage is 2 4ks vs GLD at Masters Copenhagen.

So far FNS has yet to achieve an ace (of the VLR matches that show stats).

Do you think FNS has what it takes to get another 4k before he retires? Will he be able to achieve his first ace before then?

I will update this until he retires.
