STATS

mwzera https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/VK%20mwzera%234324/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all
cNed https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/ACE%20cNed%23carry/overview?season=all
TenZ https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/SEN%20TenZ%230505/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all

DEATHMATCH STATS
mwzera - 86% win rate (thats the insaniest thing ive seen in a while)
cNed - stats not availiable
TenZ - 73% win rate

RANKED STATS
mwzera - 66.3% winrate (MVP of 95% of the matches) proof here https://imgur.com/StiJmpg
cNed - 53.5% winrate (MVP of 13% of the matches)
TenZ - 60.4% winrate (MVP of 15% of the matches)

can you take your time to appreciate how insane mwzera is? without a doubt the most talented player to ever touch the game

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

heat? not good with raze
aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)

Instead of overreacting over 1 group stage loss maybe you should worry about the fact that your favorite team is getting grouped

They don't even have a skin gambling sponsor like what are you saying? They do have a gambling sponsor in betify though but there is no way they are making that much money from that considering their CS team has 0 fans. Like their games don't even get 2k viewers.

posted 3 months ago

No one cares about their CS team anymore. There is no way that sticker sales from majors they can barely even make it to keep them profitable, especially since they keep buying mediocre players for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Meanwhile they can't even afford a performance coach for their League and Val teams despite like 80% of their fans coming from those 2 games.

Possibly never. He has long covid which most people recover from in a few months but the longer you have it the less likely you are to ever recover.

fools look at bonkars accomplishments and laugh, intellectuals recognize that his brain effectively makes every game a 6v5. when you play against guild, you aren't just competing against bonkar, you are competing against every tactician that came before him.

rumors say that he's studied every existing text of military strategy dating back to ancient rome and compartmentalized each aspect of warfare into his memory palace, which he freely roams during tournaments at a timescale of 1000 mental years translating to 1 second in reality.

Yeah Leo’s rating against those 3 teams were 1.22, 1.26 and 1.09 respectively. All in all his average rating was brought down by playing those teams.

posted about a year ago

If you had done that you would have seen that Leo performed worse in the Emea League than he did internationally this year

posted about a year ago

Ah yes, Leo’s avarage rating of 1.20 in the Emea regular season brought up his average so much that it’s skewed. Without that 1.20 rating his average rating would be nowhere near 1.24 across the entire year.

posted about a year ago

The only way Leo’s rating was inflated by playing in a “farmers region” was by decreasing it.

The value of a tournament is determined by how it’s perceived by the community and champions is clearly held in higher regard than masters.

posted about a year ago

Nah masters is definitely held in higher regard than msi is and worlds is held in higher regard than champions is. It’s more like worlds > champions > masters > msi.

posted about a year ago

Champions isn’t equivalent to Mickey Mouse single elimination bo3 csgo major, it’s way better.

The internal culture of the org is reportedly pretty bad, and there are plenty of scummy things the org has done but the most appalling is the EG Danny situation. Danny who was a player for EGs lol team was basically neglected by EG’s management and forced to play because of “brand value” to the point of him becoming malnourished and getting many other related health complications.

posted about a year ago

Absolutely vile and scummy org. They really don’t deserve this win. I’m happy for the players though, but the org winning the biggest valorant tournament of the year just doesn’t sit right with me.

It is fair to give Alfa the mvp but to say that if Alfa doesn’t top frag Fnatic don’t win is such a weird recency biased take. Alfajer was Fnatics 4th best player at lock in and they won the event.

posted about a year ago

Ur right but that’s not at all what happened in this situation. Leo wasn’t close to the angle when he flashed and couldn’t have traded Derke. Obviously Leo made a mistake here and it should have played out as you described with Leo getting close to the angle before flashing but to say that he baited Derke and didn’t go for the trade is just wrong.

There is a reason why CN/KR are more successful in the esports where they actually have a player base comparable to the west and the general consensus is that those are cultural. How individualistic it is, how hardworking it is, how the gaming culture looks, how gaming is perceived in the society at large, how highly winning is valued e.t.c. These are all things that affect how successful a certain culture will be in esports, and CN/KR’s cultures are significantly more apt than the west in this regard.

posted about a year ago

Please explain to me how the game snowballing fast is an advantage for CN/KR while being a disadvantage for EU/NA. If you look at any games that CN/KR has had a similar interest in as the west then they have just been better.

posted about a year ago

Daily reminder that most Korean/Chinese players are still playing League of Legends, be thankful for that, if KR/CN started being more interested in Valorant, all other region would have trouble even making it into playoffs.
