I have been seeing lots of hate towards Indian players by outsiders and Indians themselves (this hurts the most). In support of international roster we are calling Indians players trash, dogshit, money hungry and what not. You don't know what they are going through, they might be doing their best but not getting the result they are after. Be supportive or just don't hate.

Also blaming Indian player for GE failure in last 2 season is stupid. It's a team games and also there were many instances where non Indian players were playing bad.

It's same for every esport title not just valorant lol.
In India ( or any other country), they support real Madrid and Barcelona more than their own country club.

So at the end academy team is just a VCL India team in disguise. Playing scrim from India, playing Indian tournament like any other Indian team.

Academy roster need to be present in korea like main roster or else it will fail. Especially for Indian roster. Thats my opinion.

Not in VCL but still a academy roster. Beyn and flashback are the academy players.

DRX and japanese team had academy roster in 2023.

We can never be sure, they said they are making academy in 2023 but didn't give a follow up until last month.

Rushi said he is improving and representing Indian valorant scene by paying taxes in India.

I was expecting better response from him like continuously looking out for indian talent and developing them, building a academy roster etc.

We are Indians bro don't forget, forget winning ascension getting 2 match will be a record for us.

The owners of GE recently stated that while they are an Indian organization, they don’t see themselves as an Indian team, their focus is on building a competitive roster and that they’re not obligated to prioritize Indian players. We won't be seeing Indian players in franchise for a while( never maybe).

Let's just appreciate their approach and support and criticize based on their performance.

apart from India they should consider hosting watch parties in Indonesia and South Korea next season to engage with local fans considering now they will have good international roster.
Also their capsule sale was low, catering to only Indians fan didn't work.
