can we all agree that their map pool seems fine now? i know people were calling them out for only being good on split and sunset.
Split is still good.
Bind is improved and looks good.
Lotus is good.
Sunset is good.
Icebox looks good now.
Breeze still not the best but I see improvement.
Ascent also doesn't look that bad anymore.
they seem to be competent on every map besides maybe breeze

Let’s say OpTic WINS CHAMPS 2022 AND GETS INTO FRANCHISING. Riot still would’ve only picked 10 teams so 1 of the current teams would’ve never been a thing. Which team has the worst finances/rep? Evil Geniuses. So logically… if OpTic got in, EG would’ve never happened.
On top of this, I think if they had won champs and got into franchising they would’ve stuck together. Yay would’ve never gone to Clown9 and gotten dropped. That means he also would’ve never gone to DSG. BUT… since EG isn’t a team in this scenario, Demon1 never gets picked up. DSG was planning to pick up Demon1 before EG stole him anyways… soo we would’ve had DSG Demon1 😭
tl;dr - OpTic takes EG’s spot, they never win champs, Demon1 goes to DSG instead and yay is still goat.

edit: what i'm trying to say is i don't agree with rating a team #1 just based off their roster being stacked. they've shown nothing to prove that they're a top team yet & SEN should be favored imo. everyone said LEV was gonna be the best team because of their roster & they didn't even get out of their group.

he’s been forced on viper and skye for weeks. you could tell he wasn’t confident on jett first half then picked it up and went 15/7 on attack 😂
when i see him flop on a role he’s comfortable on with a team that’s not DSG i’ll accept it. i’m not gonna accept a forced viper & skye role switch as being washed 😭

this guy went all the way to APAC just for BLEED to stick him on viper when they have sScary?? one of the best vipers i’ve seen play. they made yay play viper 1st map then they put him on jett 2nd map? looked like he had no duelist confidence on icebox after playing slow viper.. #JUSTICEFORYAY

since the new episode yay has only played flex. he's always played mainly duelist in ranked, even up until last act where he was playing raze, jett & reyna. seems like he's playing flash initiator, senti and viper for the first time ever.

why does everybody think NRG is gonna be so insane? washed Crashies and Victor with Marved who has barely played since OpTic. Demon1 is great but he's only played 1 season, and he didn't do amazing at Tokyo. He's an insane player but the expectations for him are too high. Ethan is also great, I think he'll do fine BUT this just seems like a diet OpTic team no?
