Liquid will play like shit in the regular season, crawl their way into playoffs. play a very close match with the bottom team, everyone preds liquid will go out, they somehow go on a run and win emea stage 1, everyone thinks they fluked against vitality, liquid win 1 match in toronto, everyone is hyped for them and then they crumble after the next match losing 13-3, 13-6. Everyone doubts them again, calling them flukes for winning emea, they pick it back up and are 3 rounds off winning the game, they suddenly start trolling and the glue gets everywhere, getting them eliminated 6-5th.

talon is an interesting take, its possible but im definitely not gambling on it

he is the best IGL at fragging (you can argue nAts alongside him but valyn is way more consistently on top, nAts need to keep up his performance to be the best imo and prove that this bangkok performance wasnt a once off), but valyn being a the best fragging IGL is debatable.

besides icebox the only other storyline was fnatic sweep into a loud reverse sweep, which is a good story in its self but the maps were okay and the hype moments were limited overall, it was pretty much all icebox

tbh lock//in was really good but I just found more GF more enjoyable to watch

Agreed, I was sad at the TL and EDG loss but my pride for old DRX in 2022 is still there and im so glad that stax was able to win a trophy. I can now say that my favourite player of every region has won a trophy (nAts, kk/chichoo, stax, zekken). The goat IGL finally got what he deserved

I agree, t1 looked shit until they finally improved in bangkok, their best player was also sleeping in pacific kickoff dropping like a 0.9 or 0.8 rating if I remember correctly. The roster changes with carpe felt weird asf and there was no explanation, and overall their ideas and teamplay was pretty awful.

Obviously this all changed in bangkok but this is not a reasonable prediction to make based off the information you saw
