this game is still too new for anyone to be called a goat, only the 2nd year of partnership. That aside hands down probably has to be aspas right? This guys been a top 2 player for multiple years, won champs, consistently at international events, always feels like he can win whenever he’s playing.

Praying teams in madrid don’t ego chall sen in map picks and play them on split, similar to EGs fracture last year no matter how many vods are available you can’t anti strat a team having a complete fundamental understanding of how to play that map. Unless you have a gimmick comp first time showing.
twas a veto issue, they arguably could have won the sunset but it’s questionable giving sen their obvious best 2 maps, im sure they anti stratted but there’s no way to prepare when a teams in flowstate on their best and most well practiced map. would of liked to see them push sen to play other maps when they definitely have some issues on others.

People shitting on net right now calling him terrible have no clue what it takes to be a T1 player, the intangibles he brings to a team (comms, work ethic, strategic methodology etc.) are all insane, theres a reason he has had success in the past, I can understand stat wise he maybe doesn't look like he has had much impact recently but he definitely does. dropping him this early into the year is a terrible decision, he can improve any of the teams outside of the top 4 in americas.
and jack etienne is god awful when it comes to roster decisions so this would never happen
I honestly wish for xeppaa to be on the iteration of the roster that makes it, (shouldve been last year), sadly think we may have to resort to blowing it up next year and let s0m and fns build the team they want, salaries would be the only issue with this though

why is C9 management so awful, we let zellsis build our team for this year and then we decide to blow it up after 3 matches similar to last year, the decision making and what looks like extreme incompetency is so demoralizing as a fan. Should've kept runi, picked up oxy after losing 1leaf, poach mikee, nillyaz, even fucking babyj idc, keep jake and xeppaa, core of 3 from last year adding arguably one of the best duelists in tier 2, pick up an up and coming sentinel player from tier 2, im fine with wippie honestly but not once have I ever been sold on vanity, we have picked up and dropped him 50 different times. I've seen who were trialing and im not sure if these are upgrades or us scrambling to pick up the pieces.
No team that won the regional qualifiers last year won masters/champions, can they beat the curse??
americas team dry run, create protocols, go over map philosophy etc. outside of scrims, every professional t1 team does this
