Their attack side on bind seems to be pretty shit for a map they constantly pick. Theyre definetely going through some role crisis with chamber aswell. And yeah I think double duelist on bind is kinda meh in 2022 but sick is fine as raze. Maybe tenz should pick up chamber or sage
Fnatic havent been consistent if were being honest. Around the time before champs everybody saw them as a team in decline that only got in because of gambit winning masters. They definetely proved everybody wrong and have been great this year but there was a time where they werent even considered top 5 emea
Nothing has changed with their playstyle. They keep relying on individual plays. They have little to no counter-strats, executes, good utility usage, and setplays with team coordination and cohesion. They are far behind the meta. They played the Guard as if it was a ranked game. Their stratbook and playstyles are still stuck in 2020. It's just insufferable for them. I don't find them qualifying to Iceland this time. They fell off pretty hard.
You can say V1 got upset by LG, but at least they made their games very close. Sentinels on the other hand just didn't have the synergy to keep their games close vs the Guard.
I'm now convinced that they don't practice 'enough'. It's embarrassing.
I'm assuming ShahZaM will stream for approximately 6 hours again after this pro match loss. Nothing is wrong with streaming, but it seems like [as pro players] they're too focused on streaming rather than improving team setplays and coordination. I remember ShahZam told the viewers before match day that they'll "try their best" against the Guard with a monotonous/sluggish tone. However, I asked Trent yesterday if theyre ready for playoffs, and he confidently said "yeah, we're ready". Although I agree with ShahZaM that it's [not easy] being a pro player in Val because of meta changes, both the Guard and Sen were both given almost a week (or more) to prepare and study each others' vods, and although I assume both teams "practiced", the results today show otherwise. The Guard were obviously more prepared than the latter.
Embarrassing for you, sentinels. You got dominated by an upcoming team that came out of no where. You could have at least made the scoreboard closer then it would be understandable.
Something needs to change. What do you think needs to change for sentinels? How do they solve the problems they currently have?
Props to the Guard for beating the former M1 champions. They prepared really well and anti-stratted them in every aspect. The Guard played like a solid unit, with precise utility usage, and played off of each other. Other than that, if sentinels still rely on hero plays and approach matches this sluggishly especially in their elimination match against V1, might as well say bye to Iceland. Sentinels still have their backs against the wall and I think it's not too late for them to improve. But time is ticking, sentinels.
I still got C9, Optic, or the Guard qualifying for Iceland. Goodluck.

Mate Sentinels have been doing this for a year and a half. It's their whole personality. Wether you like it or not it helps to create good narratives and entertaining matches. In fact it makes me respect them a bit more for allowing themselves to be the villains that everybody loves to hate. I know for once I couldn't handle what they throw at them tbh

Hold on, hear me out for a bit. cNed to Bleed. He's probably looking for a new chance after Acend's disappointing start to 2022. He'd also welcome the money of course. It's the only S tier player that would leave their team right now as they have nothing to play for for a few months.
Now, Acend wouldn't just let their star player leave the team right? But think about it. They're not the biggest of orgs. If a big enough offer arrived, they just wouldn't refuse it. But who would replace cNed on Acend you may ask? Thats where purp0 comes in. Yes, the man that subbed in for zeek during Acend's last match. He clearly knows the players well, and despite playing the flex role for them, he's actually a pure jett main. He'd fit right in. Just think about it!

Last realistic leak I heard was back in the day when nitr0 switched and apparently was earning 25k a month, and he was a very big signing back in the day for an org like 100t. It doesn't have to always be the case. Of course there are gonna be exceptions. I could pull up dozens of games of other t1 duelists that got battered not because of they suddenly became bad one day, but because the teamplay just wasn't there.
If the overall planning and gameplay of a team is fucked from the get go, the star duelist is bound to underperform aswell. You just can't expect to Tenz to play good when Sentinels as a unit is playing like shit
