Aside from its origin (Manhwa is korean, Manga is japanese), I also would like to point out that a lot of manhwa is written so that it is easier to read vertically, while manga is more horizontally-written.

Like Manhwa is a cascade-like reading, while manga is a book-like reading. At least from what I have read online.

Yes, and?

Obviously a third site forces you to keep attention in mid, which is right out of B. I consider that as a plus.

As someone who stopped playing, my rank is more centered in my opinion as a spectator rather than as a player:

  1. Haven: by far my favorite map due to various comps, different strats, mid is important.
  2. Bind: love that attackers have a fast rotation thanks to TPs
  3. Lotus: a heavily attack-sided map, fun retakes, unlike Haven there are fewer ways into the sites, so the 3 sites feel different. Plus, the comebacks are exciting.
  4. Fracture: I love how fast you can farm ults. It allows a fast paced map that requires coordination.
  5. Split: Kind of a love/hate relationship. It is usually a defense-sided map, but when it is not, attackers dominate it (look at Shanghai, 61% Attack WR)
  6. Sunset: Hey guys, let's go B and hide in main.
  7. Pearl: Read Sunset.
  8. Breeze: I still suffer since they took a map that I loved out of rotation and then murdered it.
  9. Ascent: Always the same comp. The map is too repetitive.
  10. Abyss (haven't watched/played enough, so it will probably change): Feels like Icebox, constant executes and post-plant. Mid doesn't exist.
  11. Icebox: Read Abyss

I must say that I loved the pre-changed Breeze. But after its first time being out of the map pool, I hated it. Bring back my old Breeze, or at least chang it so that it doesn't suck as much as it does nowadays.

I stopped going to the gym due to a leg injury. However, when I did go, I used to do:

Leg 1 --> Arms & Chest --> Rest --> Leg 2 --> Arms & Back --> Rest
Repeat

Everyday I did cardio (bike or running) for 40 minutes after the routime.

The Relegation I planted meant as a Relegation only for the 2 Ascension teams.

10 fixed teams (iirc, their spot lasts for 4 years who just continue if Riot says so after the 4 years)
2 Ascension teams (one of them looses its spot in VCT annually and fights in Relegation to keep the spot against the tier 2 team)

posted about a year ago

The Guard did, but then decided to disband the team due to... reasons. Then G2 bought the team as they didn't get a spot in VCT, allegedly due to the Ocelote/Tate incident.

G2 didn't win Ascension, TGRD did.

If Riot wants to keep 10 teams and have a constant flux of 2 Ascension teams, add relegation. Let them fight for their spot.

Or when most of the public left during the Lock//in 2023 finals when they got tired while Loud started to lose...

Brazil sucks as the holder.

I think that people tend to associate him with KRÜ's failure during last year regular season.
Plus, 00Nation reached ascension last year after bringing him and Bezn1 to split 2 (they went 2-5 in split 1 before the changes)

He is a solid player imo.

Saadhak did say before Split 1 that he wouldn't be the one that makes all decisions.
He is the IGL and continues to make suggestions, but now the final decisions are up to the coaching staff. Whom, according to Saadhak where blamed for his mistakes and couldn't perform to the level that was expected from them.

So there has been a lot of changes in the dynamics between coaches and players, while also finding a playstyle that would suit Qck instead of Aspas. All that, plus the lack of practice before the first match against NRG. To me, it is impressive that they could make it to playoffs.

Then again, they did compete against FUR, MiBR and EG.

I wouldn't complain about getting some few extra days to study. But I also can understand the whole stress that implies being near to a test, so don't worry.

Just make the most out of this extra time.

So... I like to cook so I wanted to know if anybody was willing to share some recipes that I could prepare when my exams are finished.

Maybe a dessert, pastries, main dishes, whatever that you recommend.

I think that knowing what Valorant players like to eat/cook could be fun.

Having seen KRÜ's voicecomms, Atom tends to give some actually good tactical pauses to lift the mood. Cracks some jokes and cheers the team when needed.

On Melser. I fucking love his plays. While not being a top fragger, he can generate pressure with his lurks even if they are not as strong as Shyy's. He is the main smoker, he can't take as much risks.

Klaus, being the IGL, can't keep track of everything but can pull his weight every now and then.

If only KRÜ didn't throw that Icebox... why did they play so standard against LEV?

This was actually, one of the few games that I were bored to watch. It dragged for so long and so much chaos.

C0m is, literally, a world champion. Even if his performance has been a bit lacking, he has shown a really good game.
In my opinion, he was always underrated in EG because of Demon1, but he landed arguably the best Sova utility.

Kills are not everything, utility is needed and he has shown than he iss one of the best.

Now, Tex being part of a superteam has always been odd to me. But I can trust him given TGRD's history.

I carry a compass with me everywhere. I don't need it at all, I live in a city, but it means a lot to me as it was my grandfather's.
Everyone has their lucky charms/emotional support items.
Mind your own business and be a "grown man".

He played as greatly as usual. Except for the first half on Sunset. That map is on Mazino.

GGs to him and LEV. NT to KRÜ

That's what I thought but a lot of acquaintances has said to me that it was wins>rounds>maps.
So I started to doubt.

I wasn't able to find information about what is more important: map difference or round difference to qualify to playoffs?

Can someone answer this or share me the official ruleset? As I could only find that shitty "all you need to know" and Liquidpedia pages.

I turned 24 at the beginning of the month. I haven't played Valo since last year. Only watching competitive matches

The team has constantly said that they will keep mta. But I think that he will stay as a sub at this point.

I remember NagZ responding to that 2/78 claim with a:

"Nonono, it was 79" or something like that

posted about a year ago

So, if EG and Loud lose, the qualified Americas teams should be:

  • KRÜ
  • LEV
  • 100T
  • NRG
  • C9
  • G2

However, if Loud beats G2 and EG wins against NRG:

  • EG or Loud would qualify according to map difference
  • G2 and SEN would depend on NRG vs 100T match (If NRG loses, there would be a 3-sided draw depending on maps and maybe on rounds)
  • KRÜ, C9 and one of the previous teams (G2, SEN or NRG) would qualify.

Then again, up to now everyone could be out of playoffs.

posted about a year ago

Disclaimer: this was all done while I am sick and in like 5 mins of some thinking:

  • If 100T loses to both, KRÜ and NRG by 0-2.
  • FUR wins 2-0 against C9 and SEN.
  • LOUD beats G2 by 2-0.

They could actually both classify due to maps difference.

However, if 100T wins just one map, it would mean that FUR is more likely out of play-offs. Same if FUR loses one map.

EG would also need to lose so that they don't fight for third place or win 2-1 to lose by map difference, I think.

I think that maintining form is easier than a lot of people think. However, it is just not enough.
If you are just as strong as you always have been, it will be a matter of time until another team is better than you.
So, even if you are the strongest, you have to keep being stronger. Keep studying, practicing and developing strats, or you will be read.
For example, I don't think that FNC fell off, I think that the other teams caught up to their level. (Counterargument: they almost lost a map against KOI)

posted about a year ago

I love that the reddit post that you use to support your stand as "Keznit is racist" literally shows most people thinking that he was not racist.
While also, a reply shows that both teams were talking sh*t.

Already saw it.

It was, indeed, a masterclass.

I feel kinda sorry for Loud, as they are not having the results that I expected them to have. But damn, Furia and MIBR really are not playing that good.
It is weird to me, as they don't seem to have bad players at all. Maybe it is just their compatibilities.

posted about a year ago

As I said, I couldn't watch today's game. But if you tell me that today everyone was cooking, I think that Lev could be unstoppable if they could maintain that level.
I will make sure to watch it when I have the chance. Probably tomorrow.
And, as I don't want to wait for another 3 minutes to reply to the other reply. That is what hasn't convinced me about Lev, the "It doesn't apply today" I would prefer that it just doesn't apply at all. On Lev's defeats, it seemed to me that Aspas did a lot of the work carrying the team and still lost, the rest of the team didn't have that much impact.

posted about a year ago

Por desgracia, no pude ver el partido de hoy. Ojalá sea verdad, porque un Aspas go kill no me convencería aun con el firepower de Aspas.
Me lo veré mañana en la tarde, yo creo.

posted about a year ago

Honestly, as a Krü fan. I think that Lev would win. However, Krü could win if they manage to stop Aspas. Lately, Lev's strategy has seemed like an Aspas go kill strat, tbh.
Still, I am happy that both LATAM teams are doing great. Iirc, both are first in their groups.

posted about a year ago

Honestly, I think that Aspas is better than Demon1. But I also think that LEV's play style has become an Aspas-go-kill.
So, in my opinion, LEV will lose the game due to that strat not being that solid. As a LATAM fan, I hope to be proved wrong, tho.
Edit: Orthography sucked.

While NagZ played Viper and KJ, Daveeys played Viper, KJ, Cypher and Chamber.

I do think that Deigara and Theory's pools are closer to NagZ's, Kingg is by no mean, worse than them and keeping him from IGLing will surely mean an even better performance, but has LEV say anything about them parting ways?

posted about a year ago

Personally, i would prefer Theory from FS or Deigara from 9z.
However, I can't deny that having already worked with Atom is a plus for Feniz

posted about a year ago

To stay on LATAM, my choices would be:

Kingg (LEV)
Deigara (9z)
Theory (Fusion)

All of them have good Vipers, but Deigara and Theory also play Cypher and KJ, being even closer to NagZ's agent pool, while a lot of Kingg's pool overlaps with Keznit

posted about a year ago

As an honest question, obviously respecting Mwzera. How is he going to be the best duelist now? What is the difference that sets him so ahead from other duelists.
Just from stats from the last two months he has had worst results than Jawgemo and Keznit.
However, he had better stats than leaf, kiNgg, Tacolilla and others.
What I mean is, that he is not really that much better than the other Raze players in the Americas league.
Btw, I only checked the Raze stats, not Jett and other agents.

The thing is, due to the lack of T2 and even T1 tournaments for the rest of the year (except for Champions). A lot of tams will probably disband as they cost money to the orgs and are not playing at all
