Great signing but sad for Fit1nho, hopefully he gets signed to a good team. I think with Meddo instead of delezyh, this team could definitely be top 5 EU

Why? lol because I said TenZ stepping down was not part of a plan to make the C9W team the main C9 roster? The only women's basketball I have seen is the 2018 NCAAW championship while I was in San Antonio(to watch the men's championship) at a Buffalo Wild Wings lol. But no you can check my logs I hate how they have to make exclusively female teams because that's not equal treatment since the main rosters are inclusive to men and women.

EU teams are dropping like flies? You mean the unsigned teams like nolpenki? EU orgs have already pulled off this game yet Vitality just entered and no big orgs have left the scene...

Yeah let's compare how much people made in cs 7 years ago to how much pros in Valorant make today... Not to mention did you see how much money C9 is paying their cs roster so if you want to compare prices don't go back 7 years instead of looking at last year. TenZ definitely doesn't get paid half of what some of C9's cs players are making but I'm sure he's still making at least $100k/year.

Valorant is allowing teams to have a female roster alongside their female roster so idk what you're talking about. Also this is TenZ stepping away not being removed as a part of C9's scheme to rule the female Valorant scene

Money over everything? So you think he was making big bucks to play for C9? If his mentality was money over everything he would just stream and play competitively. You do realize that these are people and not robots right? They have lives, they can feel emotions, they can get burnt out. The man his been playing since beta and was 1 of the first pro players signed. All of this just to never win even though he has been the best player in the game.

It's uhhh kinda just 1 player...

Can't say I saw this coming. Hopefully he will make a return to the competitive scene once LAN returns and hopefully it's with a better team this time.

Love the patch. Maybe doubling the price of Omen's paranoia is a bit too drastic and I think I might've preferred increasing it to 300, at least initially, but that's not a big deal. Other than that, I love everything about this update.

Wait I thought shinobi was gonna be on Equinox :(

Time In losing? Shocker. Welp at least they get a free pass to every tournament no matter how bad they perform...

posted about 3 years ago

I actually really like this. I feel like Shinobi can transform Equinox or any other tier 2 team into a much better team just off of his in game leading alone. Also he may have struggled against tier 1 teams do to his individual skill but he should be much better against tier 2 teams. Hope they sign him and it works out.

If Liquid drops anyone(which they should imo) it should be Soulcas. As a raze main you are expected to be one of the top fraggers since your kit is based around kills. On the other hand, ec1s is a breach main who helps set up ScreaM for a lot of kills with his flashes. Liquid loves to do the breach and jett flash and dash and it works very well for them. Also ec1s is more versatile. He can play breach, omen and brim so if Liquid wanted to put L1nk on a duelist or something like that, ec1s could easily take the smoker role back. Also isn't ec1s the IGL as well? I could be wrong but I know he was at one point so he could also bring that to the team as well.

It wasn't really a silly move. IMT have been struggling to get results and failed to make First Strike, jmoh ane neptune have easily been the 2 worst IMT players and jmoh is definitely also the most inconsistent. Also, there are a lot of great jett and cypher/killjoy players out there and knowing IMT, they'll likely find some very talented players to replace these 2.

Edit: They didn't fail to make First Strike, just lost in the first round, my mistake.

Is zeek an IGL? It seems that a lot of the issues with G2 have nothing to do with firepower but rather the lack of an IGL

posted about 3 years ago

Cypher certainly does not have the lowest clutch potential in the game... He has cages to act as smokes and a cam to get intel and trapwires to cover his flanks. With that utility he can be great in the post plant on attacker side at least.

Learn how to spell... Also Valorant has been out for 6 months, not a year, cs has 2 majors a year, not 1 every month. There are a few charity tournaments but not too many. Also tournaments have these things called sponsors. Sponsors are these agreements where the tournament organizer shows off someone's product during any breaks in the tournament for revenue. It's something cs doesn't have too much of because they have terrorist in their game so Valorant already has a better opportunity to grow.

I don't think he was necessarily on the decline tho wasn't he making a comeback? But yeah he's also 30+ and has been killing it as well.

posted about 3 years ago

Players like HiKo and Ange1 are both 30+ and were on the decline in cs and look at them now.

I never said EU wasn't tactically complex I just said that VS were the first team(or one of the first) to actually use complex tactics, a lot of which are used in NA and EU today and once again sure, Vs might not have been the first to use Breach but they were the first to use him correctly with simple things like a flash and dash. And yes, I said(maybe not here) that VS would get destroyed due to a lack of firepower and the fact that NA and EU teams know their strats.

posted about 3 years ago

1st off being the 1st to do something doesn't mean too much. Nobody was properly using Breach until VS and now everybody has perfected the VS flash and dash which no team was doing before VS who pretty much perfected the timing of it and combined other elements to have some great plays. Everytime you see on Ascent the play where Jett dashes down mid while breach flashes and 1 or 2 players push up B main, that is copied from VS. Just watch Sideshow's video on their executes and you'll realize just how many are used in NA and EU play now. Also this is not cs so I don't know why you are bringing that up. I also said properly combining abilities, meaning doing more complex things with more abilities than the simple combinations of utility at the time(like a slow orb + nade or something simple like that).

How did that spread hate? I just used a point that you could claim that someone is cheating and win the event. I was using Ninja as an example. But if that is the case, I'll reiterate ideekae's point that once again a TO is trying to milk views out of Ninja.

posted about 3 years ago

To be fair you only see their tactics in NA and EU because they stole it from VS and also I don't know what you mean pug tactics, they were the first team to actually start properly combining the utility of their agents to do a play whether on attack or defense. With that being said every NA/EU team has probably watched A TON of VS games and would read them like a book if they played against them.

All I'm going to say is that Guild might've actually qualified and beat G2 if they didn't decide to exploit a bug so not qualifying and losing to G2 is their fault.

posted about 3 years ago

THIS IS SO FUCKED. At least Guild was forced to ff against G2 for definitively exploiting a bug but BBG is forced to ff because of 1 kinda sus clip of Critical holding an angle?????? If I'm one of the teams in the final, I'm claiming that the other team's best player is cheating to secure the bag since you're able to do that. Ninja can just cry that everyone is cheating and win the event, simple as that. BBG loses out on the chance to win $10,000 because of a cheating accusation that didn't even get reviewed that is such BS.

posted about 3 years ago

Damn Swedes always using exploit boosts smh

maybe NRG were tired of Koler pushing EVERY SINGLE ROUND on defense... There were so many instances where Koler would just push on defense, give the attackers a free kill and an opening to push onto a site. He definitely has the best aim on NRG but it could also be something outside of the game or he doesn't fit into their style.

posted about 3 years ago

Did you not read the rest of my post? NA and EU teams watch a lot of VS games and steal their strats. They would 100% be ready for their executes. Their tactical advantage won't matter since the NA and EU teams would know what's coming. With that being said maybe they wouldn't get destroyed but they certainly wouldn't be the best team in the world.

posted about 3 years ago

They already signed 1 and have 4 open roster spots so it's likely they'll end up with at least 2 French players

They get hype because they are tactically the best team in the world and have some of the best executes in the game. I'm sure you've seen the Ascent play where on defense, Jett dashes down mid while breach flashes and 2 players crunch the players at B main. That's from VS. Also they haven't lost so that's another reason they get so much hype. They're definitely a top 10 team in the world imo but I think that teams like G2, FPX, 100T, Sen, TSM and more have way too much firepower for VS to be the best team.

posted about 3 years ago

VS would get destroyed... EU and NA teams are way more talented and obviously watch a lot of VS with the amount of strats they "steal" from VS. Also this is assuming NA and EU would play out the same way as First Strike did with Heretics, Sumn, 100T and TSM outperforming the likes of G2, FPX, Sen and NV. Also I'm sure a Brazilian team(likely Gamelanders) would be up there as well.

posted about 3 years ago

I really doubt that it was a coincidence that HiKo says sage sucks and the next time 100T played, Dicey was on sage. The old comp was working so obviously the new comp is to switch things up on their opponents, especially since Envy was the 1 big team that 100T hadn't beaten, so saying sage sucks throws them off even more. HiKo said this very recently and I'm pretty sure they would've been working on the new comp by then so I'm very confident that he was just trying to throw everyone off.

posted about 3 years ago

So he wasn't trolling yet they literally use an agent he said was trash in the very next game they played after he said that?

posted about 3 years ago

Huh it's kinda like how he said 100T were gonna sign Ninja to their Valorant team... One again everyone gets baited but also who knows if they are going to stick to this comp

posted about 3 years ago

Not necessarily. Gen.G beat Sen, TSM and C9 in their group so they definitely have a chance as well. I don't think Faze has a chance and the likely winner is whoever wins this match but GenG definitely has a good chance.

posted about 3 years ago

No way you're upset that you can't watch Envy shit on Ninja...

posted about 3 years ago

I mean 100T Envy is a much better game(normally) than Sen GenG. It would make sense if all the players weren't streaming but maybe they didn't know they were streaming or something like that idk

posted about 3 years ago

So glad that the stream is showing this rather than the NEW C9 vs TSM...
