What if you get promoted and like win a franchised tourney? You still get demoted after 2 years?

How does a Vct team getting promoted to franchised work again? Is the highest performing team in each league’s vct region (like highest performer in NA VCT, BR VCT, and LATAM VCT) replaces the lowest performing team in each franchised league? Or is it the one winner of the VCT international LAN?

No I don’t think it’d make sense to go entirely 50/50 aim duels at all. I just think the ability to use utility to entirely neutralize a portion of the map or an entire enemy needs to be harder to use or something. And the amount of utility or frequency it can be used or something.
Those plays where someone gets their angle smoked, then kayo flashed, then breach nade, then breach flash, then raze blastpack closing space, then kayo flashed again before getting domed with no idea where they are… those are stupid plays imo. And I know that’s an exaggeration but like just something about the power and quantity of util in valorant isn’t fun or clever or skilled or anything.. it’s just like. Too much

Never said no skill. Said too powerful. You literally my point with “combos”.
My point is that there’s too much utility and it’s too powerful, it makes for a lot of chaotic execs and holds that could otherwise display people skill more frequently.

Pluses and minuses, I would just prefer less impactful utility and less of it.

No I mean utility doesn’t require enough skill in valorant. Yes, there’s team play and stuff but just look at how brim can pop 3 smokes EXACTLY where he wants at the exact same time. You can fly your flash where you want. You can lay a Molly down and then hide and pop it off whenever you want.

Not saying there’s no skill, and it’s better for casual play, but it makes utility entirely too powerful in pro play for a fps (imo)

I love csgo and I love valorant.

Sometimes I wish they’d change eco around in csgo and stop having 90% of plants turn into saves. Best thing valorant had over csgo is that retakes are a vital part of the game, leads to way more 1vX highlights and displays of insane skill.

Sometimes I wish there was less utility in valorant, it gets too crowded on execs and utility is typically a low skill ceiling in valorant (too easy too place exactly where it should go).

Sometimes I wish riot production wasn’t so gimmicky and also games should be first to 16 cuz 13 is too quick and puts too much importance on pistols and also overtime should be longer. Also fix your dang tournament styles. A 32 team single elim is just silly and ALSO a double elim to the final is dumb, make the quarter finals to finals single elim it makes every game insane and important. The amount of times a final is a rematch of a semi finals is so anticlimactic.
