As much as I love to watch the region and all am for the Chinese uprising, unfortunately it's still EDG and two outliers at best who can somewhat compete internationally but still probably EDG the only team who make it far. Which is a good thing since upto last year, it was "maybe EDG can hold their own". But the region still needs time to grow, it's still half baked and that's alright.

Tldr: S8ul, an Indian org bought out DUPG esports, another Indian org who was invited to VCL SA split 1 because they ended on a good position in 2024 split 3. But the second they acquired DUPG, they removed almost every member from the roster except one guy and in split 2 they plan on removing him for Venka too. Rossy has an issue with this and he mentioned his dissatisfaction with S8ul just using the DUPG players for a slot and it became a big issue between the communities. S8ul is a very big org in Indian gaming scene with a lot of fans.
It's not even like, "standing up against the woke" as they think it is. It's just straight corny and him trying to stay relevant holy fuck.

Many good players this year have come from tier 2 without a single tier 1 game. Pretty sure there are 2 in your own team. So you can say he may not perform well because you think he is not good but saying it is because he is a tier 2 player is kind of odd. You do you tho

I don't even think his firepower is his strongest aspect. There are players who have more raw aim than him. He is just so smart in taking duels. He knows how to isolate every single fight. This guy has crazy experience and it shows every duel he takes. That entire 1 v 3 clutch on Split, he just baited them out so easily. Remember it's G2 btw, one of the most competent and well composed teams and he was playing them like a fiddle. Meteor is just better.
