The bar must be really low.

The equivalent of match fixing in the Fortnite world cup. Teamed with people out of the running to feed him and his partner kills, was banned for two weeks.

Took a second to realize what this was ROFL

Not quite, Sen was unable to complete a buyout and he was unable to stay. He does want to be a player again so this isn't necessarily bad for him but it sucks for SEN

posted about 2 years ago

Not quite like that but sure. He is married and a married man definitely would have acceptable reasons to not be seen or clipped with other women online. I don't know everything about the situation but I feel like saying he is woman hater or outright defending him is wrong in both cases.

he got the complete NA treatment :l

Russia just started their invasion of Ukraine.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah but who in the NA game-changers scene could fix their problems? The issue is all of game changers is having worse problems right now. I don't see gamechangers teams breaking t2 for a while If at all sadly.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean andbox is good but they are only a shadow compared to top t2 and low t1

posted about 2 years ago

almost all of their old roster got picked up by current T1 or top T2 orgs

posted about 2 years ago

No they were a team around during 2020 Valorant haha, they have been on almost a full year hiatus cause all their players got picked up haha

posted about 2 years ago

After almost an entire year we have Moon Raccoons

I completely forgot they were a team but I am very happy to see them back.
They had a win over Ghosts so Maybe they can make it to top T2 and challenge some bottom T1 teams.

ye i saw that after posting, they played in vct qualifiers

posted about 2 years ago

Shimmy and Whitr are actually doing so well, there is a huge gap in their matches today and in the VCT qualifiers between them and their teammates. hopefully that changes

Uni team, yeah. lots of universities have esports programs now. This was their first game on record.

nope went right over my head..

Still don't get it

Yeah there is no way. If 100T and Ascend have offers for him there is no reason why he would sign with GE

If they are miles above every female team

That is pretty bad for the gamechangers lans coming this year

Astra, she is a good Agent but is too dominant in the controller meta.

I think that's reasonable. I could see it being a TAC shooter in the same way that PUBG was. Mobile gaming without aim assist is completely reasonable and I think could fit valorant very well. It will be interesting to see what happens with the project in the future!

I think pioneers are on the rise. I honestly don't get why you waste the time to even reply to the forum if this game is so meaningless to you.

Just two dogshit teams running around, why even pay attention to it. just go play ranked instead
so weird.

I'm just trying to point out that the logic doesn't make sense.
People find funny what they find funny.

For wanting to watch what was most likely a comedic game?

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I knew what you are getting at.

All I'm saying is the reality that women teams are so far behind in the scene its difficult to want to see them at a high tier lan as it's highly probable that they get creamed by a t1 team.

Thats why they are getting their own international plan for women only teams
I personally would find it hilarious if one region just turned out to have cracked female teams that just annihilated everyone and could play on a t1 level. Maybe from SEA or BR? EMEA is probably too hard for them to break out in, NA is so far behind, but SEA hasn't had an international lan yet (I could be mistaken though I forget if Sharks are LATAM or SEA) and BR is having a bunch of its t1 scene restructure.

posted about 2 years ago

I think that sentiment is why they are getting an all women lan, at the moment womens teams are so far behind It would be pretty bad to do an invitational lan.

That a lot of shade to throw at aproto.

Happy for gambit, gutted for KRU,

I don't believe people will see Gambit as anything less than the villains in this story, only winning due to plot armour. (save for the die hard Gambit fans)

Some of the rounds they won are just so over the top BS its amazing KRU stayed in it for so long after getting aced so much.

Oh well, guess it's going to be a sucky Grand finals.
Rip viewership.

oof.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah. I just hope this doesn't turn out like the Female League of Legends squad in the Russian circuit. I Just am concerned that the numbers they think they will get wont be there.

posted about 2 years ago

Would the game changers Lan events do well viewership wise? I only usually see around 7-10k for any given tournament or game.

I find it hard to see the viewership being as good when C9W cant get out of the T2 NA scene.

Good for them making a LAN tournament though.

I can't see FNC dropping anyone at the moment, Boaster would be one of the last players on the team I see going if they even got to that point. I initially didn't like him during Iceland but he has really grown on me and earned my respect. The man brings so much energy and hype to the stage and to his team that it would be stupid to drop him.

posted about 2 years ago

you obviously did not read what I wrote or else you will know my comment is completely unrelated to whether or not SEN is better or worse than KRU.
KRU played better yes.
You still have no idea what I was getting at.

posted about 2 years ago

And you base this how? As Shroud says, No one at this level of play is bad. Sentinels don't expect him to be a high frag player, rather a reliable player. His astra utility is fine and any misplays are most likely due to the communication problems the team was having. At this event they even acknowledged that their communication was uncharacteristic of them and was what cost them the Liquid game. I feel like the biggest difference this tournament was that they were all having trouble with hitting shots.

I think its fair to want zombs gone, but I feel like people are using his recent conflict to completely be biased against him.
Yes, he didn't play as good as usual in this tournament, but so did almost everyone save Shaz and depending on the map Dapr or sick

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly what I see as well.

posted about 2 years ago

I disagree. I think SEN has that capability too but hasn't needed to. Then when we have seen them pull something really weird out (Shaz on Breach) we have only gotten one look at it. Are we really going to jump to those conclusions off of one or two games where they have thrown the curveballs out? I think that Tenz could 100% have played raze if he wanted to. We didn't get to see it but both of those agents are good for him. The reality is we can't know why he chose the jett, we can only speculate unless they give us a reason. Also, don't forget that Zombs doesn't need to play a different agent, those two are the most dominant controllers on every map. His weak link was his gunplay if we need to pin him for something. It makes no sense to make him play a different agent any more than it would to put TenZ on a different role than entry.
Split is a mixed bag for SEN because historically it was one of their best maps where they won a lot of important games. I feel like if they start playing like themselves again that map isn't a problem for them but internationally it hasn't been a good one for them.

Also never start an answer with "too long did(n)'t read (I assume that's what you were meaning to say but if not I'm fine being wrong) as it completely shoots yourself in the foot. Why would I or anyone else want to take you seriously when you open with that? Obviously, I did read your response because I knew you read it.

I see what you are saying but I think that people attribute not changing their preferred comps to not being able to, instead of doing it on purpose.
I agree to disagree.
Thanks for the response

Alright, this is a bit of a tilter but can all the people claiming SEN washed need to roster change please start saying the same about FNC. They have both had disappointing results between the masters 3 and Champions and both had subpar performances against teams they were not supposed to. The loss to liquid is understandable. Now that KRU has beat both SEN and FNC I think people really need to stop discrediting KRU as a team that shouldn't be considered equal with them. Obviously, SEN needs to go back to the drawing board but from FNCs performance so do they. No one is going to be calling FNC to do roster changes, though they may make them. How about we fans stop back seat making decisions that the experienced players can make for themselves. They obviously have a better grasp of where the team is at and what their goals are and how to achieve them.

I feel bad for both SEN and FNC for losing. Forums need to just to let the teams sort their stuff out in their own time and stop harping on them.
Huge Credit to KRU though, they played absolutely insane, I'm curious to how they do against Gambit.

This comment isn't supposed to incite a crap storm below, Just please be considerate of the teams that couldn't deliver and let them sort their stuff out.

posted about 2 years ago

Honestly, In a selfish way, I want KRU to either get stomped or win it all. The latter would be preferred. The way they are playing now who knows, taking down SEN, FNC, AND gmb would be an insane run to meet Ascend or Liquid. Good luck to them they have a crazy run ahead. Let's see how they do!

A Demo Tool?

posted about 2 years ago

Popularity doesn't make a team less skilled at the game lol. SEN was the team NA was hoping would solidify NA as the best region in Valorant so it isn't an understatement that they had the expectations of an entire (at least majority) region on them. They haven't looked or played like themselves, Its hard to describe. When I hopped into their matches it didn't feel right, even as a SEN fan. Something just doesn't feel very them right now and I hope they can find it again. The SEN roster is very talented they just need to find themselves again. I was hoping for another SEN Gambit game but that won't be happening sadly.

Also TenZ needs to take a rest, poor guy has had so many expectations on him, probably feeling similar to his CSGO days though 100x worse.

posted about 2 years ago

Part of that may have been them trying to find the balance between having a coach and an IGL, something that takes time.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I understand Zombs frustration though. So many people just discrediting SEN when they thought the tech pause was dumb too. I don't agree with it, but like people need to realize that a tech pause has little to do with how a player preforms. Im continually amazed by how increasingly toxic everyone is being, this thread needs a pin.

posted about 2 years ago

Almost every sport has some form of game pause that can be used for breaking momentum. Esports are no different. Tech pauses are annoying for both the players and the fans because in order to call one something has to have been going wrong that affects their gameplay experience and potentially costs them rounds. Valorant is heavily dependent on some rounds. What do you expect team A to do if they have a mechanical problem? Let themselves be disadvantaged by it? Team B (Who didn't call the pause) has just as much time to talk and strat as Team A so It is perfectly balanced. In fact, if a Mechanical problem has arisen TEAM A was at the disadvantage. If it's a normal time out then it's just a well placed time out. This is true for all sports. This isn't a defence or a critique of any team or fan base. Just everyone's treating calling a tech pause as a crime because their team potentially loses momentum. Let the Pros play the game and sort out their tech problems.

Actually I just double Checked and I actually picked Fnc to win ROFL

Mine were fricked from when Vikings beat racoons and then when Ascend lost extra fubar. Then I got rolled by this ROFL

posted about 2 years ago

both Scenes have bad apples that make terrible comments to each other both sides feel they are justified. Making jokes about people with brain damage is absolutely wrong, I find it funny how many people here feel like labelling entire regions as disabled are somehow better than the people they call xenophobic. I get not liking sentinels fans, but notice how Pro teams don't hate each other like this? It's crazy to me that the scenes hate each other as much as they do. The amount of toxicity NA gets internationally from EU and India is crazy compared to how the actual NA teams and average NA fan treats them.
