I really hope they do something like this and not round robin groups. I dont understand why they chose 12 teams for this event, 12 is such a weird number to host a bracket with. If they had 16 teams ppl would be happier cuz more teams get to go and bracket would be much easier to make.

If Rise beats NRG, then they will be 2-3 in groups, and since optic and knights who are both 2-2 have to play each other there is guaranteed to be 2 teams tied for the 4th-5th spot. What is the tiebreaker format for challengers, is it who won the head to head or something else like map/round difference? If it's head to head tiebreaker and optic lose vs knights, rise make it out which would be pretty insane considering how much better optic have looked as a team.
