I will be doing preds for emea too, if im not too busy.

Preds are back, much more chill than masters though. My flair is going to change depending on the team i want to win.

Sen 2-0 TGRD sen wont be horrible this tournament. This is hopium bc I just want shroud to be in champs bc it will be very funny. This is more on the guard losing than sen winning.

FaZe 2-1 EG both teams are really good and probably the closest match for these days so all good. I just like watching FaZe more but they could be out of steam idk.

Sen will be decent but wont get further than 3 matches.

Jingg is great but idk if he is top duelist in terms of consistency?

I have no shame in admitting i want sen to win. I just think it would be funny to see shroud at champs.

I like his wall on b long and he can really play well around art too since he can cutnlies of sight easily. Could be a good replacement for viper, or any second initiator making the comp more flexible which is the point of phoenix in the first place.

I dont think the guard will be as crazy as masters 1, but they will be good def at a high level again.

This is pre buff so no instant decay and ur teammates get hurt by ur ult and i remember one round where he ulted a main on attack, but it didnt even reach site. Such a horrid pick.

No duelist should work on all maps, jett and chamber were unbalanced and therefore always worked extremely well in any situation. Chamber wont get replaced nor jett bc they have their own role atp, they play the opper role. If theres going to be an agent that can be played well on all maps like old jett, id say neon, but ofc it doesnt mean shes the best pick for all maps. Shes just decent on all of them. (Neon > raze on breeze, even though i think raze is stronger on most maps especially with fade)

There is very little hype, but im excited bc it looks like they will be fun to watch.

No subreezy

Sick was still good as a skye/sage/raze even on smokes. The other players have just gotten unlucky trying to break back into the t1 scene. Drone was playing well on DZ

LATAM JAPAN and BR all have their own leagues. Hes talking about teams with no vct circuits in their region, so they can play in international lans. None of these teams would be affected maybe except one more group stage match.

just signed L1NK, and dropped zeek, also have a good chance of winning LCQ imo.

i got so excited, now im sad

posted about 2 years ago

Acend, Faze, Sen (in terms of relevance), Xset, Bleed, Liquid, M3C, NTH probably a lot more.

posted about 2 years ago

Acend with L1NK might be S depends on their chemistry.

posted about 2 years ago

C9 probably higher
I would put SEN and TGRD same tier

posted about 2 years ago

Dapr- flex
Tenz - Chamber
Zellsis - Entry
Shahz - Main initiator
Shroud - Smokes

posted about 2 years ago

Didn't they not have jady for the whole stage 2 already?

I agree, I think a region ranking isnt always about international success, its more about the in region competition within it. Good teams will thrive despite their region, because its more about discipline and playing a particular key idea. I think EMEA deserves number 1 considering it is still the place to bootcamp for a team like LOUD. When we talk about a region we talk about how good a region is internationally, but when a team is good they will do good despite where they come from. EMEA and NA still stand atop this list bc the level of competition inside the region is still extremely high.

Ascent should be xerxia, or leviatán, prx ban ascent against xerxia all the time and fpx lost against them in group stage.

What is the criteria for best player? Is it abt consistency? (Yay)performance?(TenZ, Zeek) Clutch factor? (Shao, Marved, Mindfreak) Mechanical skill? (Cned, F0rsaken)Each one has a difference answer because the criteria matters a lot. Of lets not mention flexibility (chronicle) adaptability (Derke) and other factors too.

Oh no! Im 1/3 on my predictions, hopefully i can get back to a respectable 50%! What a great tourney with great games we’ve seen, and finally Optic have won a map against EMEA.

PRX 3 - 0 FPX
prx ban split
prx ban icebox

Ascent -PRX they have looked really good at breaking past chokepoints and blitzing past opponents setups. Also if FPX pick jett over chamber, they will not be able to counter forsaken lurks. If they do pick chamber it’ll be more manageable for fpx and will be much easier to win. Either way PRX look incredible on ascent, and they had to compete against Xerxia who had already beaten FPX on ascent.

Bind - If they go back to yoru: PRX, if not its a simple toss up. PRX look uncomfortable on their fade raze, but they have a full day to get good at it. Optic was able to become incredible on breeze in a day just before grand finals, so it is definitely possible. But the yoru has been proven to be the buggest contender for the best bind in the world.

Haven - PRX. FPX look bad on haven. PRX had optic’s bread and butter destroyed here, however their most recent performance was simply bad, however, it wasnt with suygetsu, so I would say it might be better than expected.

Not much to say. PRX have looked really strong in every map they play except split and with 2 bans I dont see it being very intrusive. They full extra day of prep and the two map bans will make the series look bad, but i definitely expect some close maps from both.

Fnatic was very cold after their match against prx

Maybe it can return for this champs, but i think theyre just gonna do another new bundle.

He was either born there or his family from there. Like ban who is korean but grew up in NA.

posted about 2 years ago

Nah its like RGX, Elderflame guns that are in the yellow tier (not knives)

posted about 2 years ago

I think pheonix can still work now, Pearl is definitely helping him with the amount of angles and the very different map geometry. He can easily work long b, and work a main blocking paint with a wall. Now you can only really make him work, he’s no longer going to be optimal or a necessity on a comp, more like a commodity.

posted about 2 years ago

No u can get them in the market

posted about 2 years ago

Sayf is so handsome, I guess he is good at the game too.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah but skins like prime and reaver arent premium, you can still get a DEAAAAL

posted about 2 years ago

3-1 optic, but I can see a 3-0 from fpx if optic cant handle suy or ardiis.

posted about 2 years ago

NOOO, FPX DONT WIN, NOOOOOO. (Im not a big fan of FPX I only like shao)
