Sen arguably had more to play for that last game than they do if they play again. I don't think it's been enough time for Sen to fix their problems enough to beat G2. There's also a chance that instead of being fired up, their mental got boomed, hope not but who knows. But Sen is a good team, so obviously they can still beat G2, it should still be a great game.

EG was the best in their region by the start of champs. But I do believe G2 is better than Lev and they literally just beat Sen pretty handedly.

My argument would be that since it's deeper in the year more teams have had time to develop and that makes it more competitive. At least in 2022 and 2023 (idk about 2021 cause I didn't watch it) I would argue Champs was the most competitive tournament in that year so I view it as being more impressive to win

Last years roster wouldn't have stayed together even if NRG wanted to, the roster apparently had a lot of internal issues and FNS didn't want to play with presumably with Victor and Crashies because he didn't think they could win (ironic but I guess he was right). Remasters are cool, but nowadays they often have the exact same issues that you mentioned. Obviously there are exceptions like there are exceptions to what you're taking issue with.
Personally I like experiencing new things, so personally I would rather have a new interesting game of the same quality as the old interesting game, than just them rereleasing the old interesting game with a new coat of paint as a cash grab
