If you're saying teams will try more in stage 1 cause if they do well they have a higher to win EWC then I'd say you're silly, teams are always going to be trying their hardest to do well in stage 1 to qualify to the second masters and to get champs points
If you're saying that teams would try more for EWC than Toronto because EWC has more prize money then I'd say you don't get why most players play the game. They want to be the best, and winning a riot run event is way more indicative of that than an off season tourney that just gives a lot of money
