Look at the firepower FNC has 4/10 players ITW are on FNC + their adaptability on the fly is probably one of best so given that for me FNC > C9 seems logical however doesn’t mean C9 can’t be in contention to overthrow them

but you gotta ask yourself is one good group stage performance really enough to determine if C9 is up there with the best team in the world?

FNC

no explanation needed

Talon 2-0 DFM and DFM go 0-9 and are the worst team in franchising

They don't have their best player lol

What a masterclass from Stellar

Bro speaking like Derke is a MI6 agent and has a secret mission against Brazil 😂

Probably the huge amount of hate towards him led to his decision to leave

Sentinels fanbase ain’t exactly loving so can’t blame him for leaving

posted about 2 years ago

it is but if I'm being honest anyone saying C9 > LOUD are trolling

posted about 2 years ago

agreed

LOUD isn't "shaking", there are a lot of reasons why recent games have been close.
literally the most studied team in the league. besides, most of the times loud struggled they were dealing with roster changes. their work on studying vods is one of the best perks they got, so not having available content to study and counter is a limiting factor.
"oh no but krü" yeah first time axeddy played for krü.
"what about eg" demon1.
"sen?" sacy as initiator, marved as controller
"c9?" should i even continue?
FURIA didn't have roster or role changes, convincing 2-0 as a result

also, against KRÜ, Saadhak had to play the matches practically without sleeping, he couldn't even think properly, tough headache etc.

if that's your way to cope, alright then, do it, but reality is disappointing and C9 will lose to them again on playoffs.

The TRUE goat of VAL

posted about 2 years ago

Bro said "tier 2 region" when VAL ain’t even the main FPS game in EMEA yet the region has the most trophies in VAL 😂

Both teams have nothing to lose so I assume both will be trying out stuff so perhaps it goes to map 3

Next week against NaVi hopefully a close game

I'm surprised they haven’t tried the Ange1 Jett

But NaVi beat BBL on Ascent

Masters Tokyo is an 12 team tournament

EMEA: 3
Americas: 3
Pacific: 3
Lock In: 1
China: 2

so no there is no LCQ for Masters Tokyo but there is one for Champions

posted about 2 years ago

I'd 100% prefer a grand finals with different teams but It's hard for me to imagine a scenario where LOUD or FNC or both aren’t in the grand finals

And take into consideration for that to happen FNC and LOUD would have to lose 2 times since it’s most likely gonna be double elim if it was single elim then I could 100% see a different grand finals happening but with double elim it really reduces the chances imo

posted about 2 years ago

True but the way I think

if LOUD vs NRG and FNC vs NaVi are close games and the favourites don’t win it convincingly or the 'underdog' beats the favourite then I believe we'll see a grand final with different teams but if the games are not close then is it really far fetched to assume that there are no teams who can challenge FNC and LOUD? And that the expectations for both of them would be high and anything but the grand finals would be a failure (Regardless of losing to the eventual grand finalist)?

posted about 2 years ago

If either one or both don’t make it it to grand finals of Masters and Champions would that be considered a failure (given the player quality)? Or is top 4 for example good enough for LOUD and FNC?

posted about 2 years ago

DRX cause they have to play Secret and T1 which shouldn’t be too hard

while FNC has to play NaVi and LOUD has to play NRG both not easy games

And in the playoffs I'd still say DRX

posted about 2 years ago

Oh yeah true Derke and Aspas are such underrated players can’t believe NRG didn’t try to get one of them

now they're stuck in Pacific ):

That Sayf guy must be from Pacific

Honestly thinking about it you’re onto something I think they wanna avoid 2 EMEA teams in the same group so sending the top 2 seeds to playoffs will avoid that so it could happen

posted about 2 years ago

I find it unlikely that they would change it since Riot seem to love the format and with MSI having the same format I don’t see it changing in Tokyo sadly

posted about 2 years ago

Doesn’t China's first seed get a bye into playoffs?

posted about 2 years ago

Hopefully this year :)

posted about 2 years ago

Realistically Fnatic vs LOUD (EU bias so FNC wins)
but would love to see DRX vs NaVi (and DRX win)

posted about 2 years ago

2-1 NRG

I have a feeling it's gonna be a LOUD win but rooting for NRG solely because if LOUD lose their record would be 7-1

posted about 2 years ago

imo Chronicle is the goat in val not only because he's the only player in Valorant with two international trophies but his impact on FNC is insane as well

posted about 2 years ago

This is sad man ):

posted about 2 years ago

Every tournament winner is overrated (rightfully so since they're the best team in the world at the time)

and LOUD aren’t underrated 😂

what you smoking?

I don’t think Boaster's aim is ever going to come close to Derke's 😂 but yeah FNC are the only International superteam

posted about 2 years ago

LOUD do have Less & Aspas who are top 3 in their roles and imo having a good IGL is also important (look at Sentinels great players but ass IGL) so Saadhak makes it top 3 players in their respective roles so I do think LOUD are an International superteam

posted about 2 years ago

So looking at the responses a superteam is a team with players that are at least top 3 (or the best) in their respective roles internationally given that

Are LOUD, FNC and DRX the only superteams at the moment (maybe Sentinels as well)?

when the team does well the players get the praise

when EG do well... nvm
