Hey so recently my favourite team in Valorant for about 2 years, M80, has unfortunately disbanded and now I don't know who to support for my #1 team so I am asking you guys for help. Who do you think should be my new favourite Valorant team and why?

Things that I care about and may convince me further:

• Former M80 Players
• Vision includes winning and making a legacy not just brand exposure and money
• They often prioritize new, young and rising talent
• They care about their community like they often make content, give out goodies and listen to their fans etc.
• I don't care about history as long as their is no controversies or bad brand image (such as BLEED) as long as their willing to make history
• I am Muslim, Canadian and South Asian and so I would love to support teams/players that I can relate to

Requirements:

• Tier 1 only since I already have some tier 2 teams I like
• Prefer from NA so I can watch their games but can be from other regions
• Not G2 or 2G (They eliminated M80)

This will be my new favourite team until I feel like they don't fit into what I am looking for or why I liked them in the first place. I would appreciate everyone giving me their opinions

You can't just identify as a "marginalized male" marginalized generally it means that people consider you a lower part of society or exclude you from society because you are not "normal' therefore people identifying as part of LGBT+ (That doesn't mean they should be) Now as for a marginalized male that would mean generally like someone that faces racism, xenophobia or men with disabilities but that doesn't mean in overall males are marginalized that fits in a different category within VCT while GC mentions other marginalized genders and not marginalized groups which is what a marginalized male would be a part of

I agree it could def work yoru being a good replacement for a flash initiator that a lotta team use even on other maps such as Ascent when playing Cypher-Deadlock although I would say there is a higher likely for the default to be kayo

omg no the flag has nothing to do with citizenship, region or country of residence its just his ethnicity at keast in the case of demon1 like FNS could technically use a flag of Tanzania if he wants to but that doesn't mean he's an import he's only an import if his main region in which he plays in is different which is not represented by his flag

My team is running Harbour, Kayo, Astra, Killjoy, Jett due to imo kayo being currently the best solo initiator it used to be skye but after skye nerf its kayo but we are still experimenting and its subject to change

Teams, meta, agents and overall dynamic of Valorant has changed a lot so who knows I just wanna see something new

Now that pearl after like an eternity is coming back, what do you guys think the meta is right now? Double controller was quite popular due to how big the map is. Usually paired in line-orb smoke such as harbour-astra, viper-astra etc. Omen was not that popular due to his distance limit and overall Astra could get more value. Double initiator could kinda work in any situation on any map generally recon-flash but back when pearl was in rotation skye wasn't nerfed yet so most teams were still able to get a lot of value out of one initiator but that should change since skye got nerfed. Also I am interested in how the other new agents such as Iso, Clove, Vyse, Deadlock could fit into here. I know Cypher isn't as good as Killjoy on this map so we probably won't see as much Cypher-Deadlock but we shall see. While Iso could def work with the long corridors and his wall mind of how harbour uses it. While Clove and Vyse probably won't be used as much only in specific situations. But whatever it is I am really excited what new stuff we will be seeing on this map. Feel free to post your opinions I want to know. Also all the stuff I am yapping could be bs because I am usually high on something when I yal this much lmao
