Esports is all about strategy, teamwork, quick thinking and reaction time.
VALORANT is available as a course in some places but it isn't popular enough to be an extracurricular sport in schools, mostly local sport and youth clubs offer VALORANT as the game is popular with kids between 10-15 here since most of them come from Fortnite
for example I coach VALORANT here in my hometown once every week
you can't get a degree in CS, but the military does favor people who competed in esports
Esports things.
A majority of schools offer esports as an extracurricular sport, bunch of different local or district tournaments which you can participate in and a lot of the former Source and 1.6 pros are coaches at schools these days
CS is a national sport for us Danes, we'd need another Astralis to make VALORANT relevant in Denmark
Yeah they're only playing the qualifier for HGE, quite unlikely they will continue under the org afterwards
Turns out that money wasn't real
Nille was carrying your ass
Petition for Tarik's Allstars logo to be a flair we can use
I pay my players with Tesco meal deals
now we only need Al0rante in VCT and then DACH won't have good players anymore ๐
Apeks do better scouting than most VCT teams, they know they can't fight with the offers from other teams so they're actually using the off-season well instead of rushing into signing players
They can definitely cook IMO, get 2 young guns into this core and they can cook ngl
per BoDork on X
I have never said that๐
A Jax er fremtiden
Don't wanna speculate but pretty sure that's what they want
EF likes to play around with Xeus' buyout depending on the organization
Teams put higher buyouts on their players during the Challengers season to avoid having them poached mid-season by VCT teams. These teams are fighting for a spot in VCT so losing a player mid-season can affect performance for a lot of teams
Thanks for bringing awareness of BEACON! <3
I'll start watching GiantX matches if they pick up Click and Profek
I believe they have bought the TO of Polaris and they intend to do it themselves.
False, Apeks has not bought the TO of Polaris and they do not intend to run it themselves. Challengers North was previously under Promod who filed for bankruptcy, in 2024 the license was acquired by MistGames.
But the rumor is they plan to become full time tournament organizers, and that they were gonna shut down operations as a team if they didn't ascend.
Incorrect rumor, MistGames and Apeks are separate companies with separate staff. Apeks is not shutting down, they're re-evaluating their business model to ensure that the company survives and have therefore paused operations in other esports and prioritized the one which had the most success which was VALORANT. If Apeks will stay next year if they lose Ascension that still is up for debate but I would argue they will try 1 more time with VALORANT. Unlike what Ardiis says Apeks is not spending a lot of money on VALORANT. They can get these players not because they offer a massive bag but because of their reputation as an organization and how they treat their players.
underrated pickup good start from GiantX this off season
I'm blind apologies (also just the entirety of Turkey should just be listed here)
Decent but missing some gems (Especially Jas)
Cayden definitely needs to get some trials as DSYRE had some smart reads during their matches
Westside not listed here is criminal and Pa1ze is in my opinion one of the best Raze players atm.
CreamyDreamy is the best pistol and sheriff player in EMEA
Vince is the only DACH player I would give a trial to
Harambe should definitely be on that list, the shit he pulls out should not be possible
Players with potential but need time:
Ianto: Big potential as an IGL, will be menace if a good coach takes him under his wing
Tempo: Really smart sentinel player
ZachKappa: Potential to be one of the greats if put into a well-structured team
Felix: Big potential but was underwhelming on SK
Waddle: Saved DSYRE's ass so many time
Bunch more but I'll keep those to my own scouting list for now
Barca want that holiday the GoNext CEO offered them if they won
I LOVE ITALY
U would think so hahahaha but nope you fall into a 3-way tie no matter what
Correction, GoNext need to lose 2-1 vs DSYRE for it to become a 3-way tie on Map diff which then means round diff will be the tiebreaker
If DSYRE dominate vs GoNext and Apeks loses 2-0 to Barca then DSYRE may be able to qualify cause of round differential
DSYRE might also have a chance at playoffs if the stars align...
can't wait for Challengers EMEA, seeing regional teams face off 4 times a year will be so good
he is very highly sought after so I would be surprised if he isn't in tier 1 next year
MY FUCKING HEART
insane first map
Just to clarify
MistGames is not doing Ascension
We only did the Play-Ins
Xeus can still be acquired, he'll just need to be bought out of his contract with EF
Although that NOVO vs SNS game should never see the light of day again
Honestly true I loved that casters could just be biased af for Play-Ins, we had some content ideas on that but guess we'll use those for Challengers EMEA
That was just something we did for Play-Ins to test it for once Challengers EMEA would start.
I am sure the other regional leagues will be casting the matches in their languages for Ascension since they already cover VCT as well but I don't think they will follow their representative all the time
I wasn't informed of this.
What do you mean Mortadelo, Liquid is definitely interested in Vanity as IGL for next year
